Here's a gif (indexed) preview of the large pedia icon. Maybe the men are too dark?

Needs a little pixel work (some out of place).

The white ratha is fantastic. Only way to get a good rescale with this unit is without shadow. If possible can you do a render of it without shadows. Makes converting to pedia icon about twice as fast - then I won't have to do a lot of cutting & recoloring.

The preview flic has a slight hesitation at the end of the loop. Looks like there's a couple of frames where the hooves move back & forth.

Unfortunately I've wasted all the time I can afford to play for today.

Lemme see that upload.

Mmmmk, there's something wrong with the lighting in the Ratha-RED folder in that zip.

I have done everything and then I found one thing which annoy me so much....... I have to redesign this unit, when all flc's are done.

Enemy attack your chariot and his unit walk over the horses :(

It depends what you've meant by "redesign" but you've only got to put the rotate ball under the hind legs of the horses, reset parent and fire the render again. The unit is good and I don't see the need to change anything else. :)

But that's still annoying, I agree. It happened to me too many times.

Rendering can be significantly speed up by using Micaelus' render script.

This is a comparison of the icon from the standard game with how the ratha render scales down. Hate to ask you to render again. But with a camera angle closer to Firaxis' the ratha will show more of the detail. don't need to change direction ratha faces - just more of a side view rather than a top view.

The wheels still look off. I assume they'll have some wooden texture? I use a program called WoodWorkshop for those.

:bump: How're the renders going?

And that when depends on when I can get about half a day free from coursework. ATM I've been telling my friends who want to hang out I might have some free time the day after Thanksgiving.

Don't think it will take that long, but don't hold your breath.

This isn't necessarily a finished version, but could someone with experience check that the palette looks alright and that civ color is only on the horses and the pennant?

Why not bother? I totally get BM's intenton, if we've waited this long for the model then getting the units_32 shouldn't be neglected.

Now for the sounds.
