Reputed rag, the New York Daily News, reported today on Tom Brady's failure to condemn his friend, Donald Trump at a recent press conference. That's the lead of the story, Brady's refusal to turn Judas on his golfing buddy, and that story was the front page lead for the NYD today.

Trump, for his part, accredits his high polling in Massachusetts to this relationship with Brady, who he stood by during Deflategate.

Aren't they cute together?

Brady stroked the check of the older man. Looking deep into Trump’s eyes, the QB reflected for a moment on how his lover’s face resembled a partially deflated football.

“Gisselle meant nothing to me, Donald. It was always you.”

“No, Tom. Our love cannot be,” Trump said, turning away. “What would my immigrant wife say? I’m sorry, Tom, but you’re fired.”

Brady grabbed Trump by the shoulders and spun him around so they were facing. “I’m fired up, for you!” he exclaimed as he pressed his lips against Trump’s.

But would Trump want a man with no balls?

Some would say that, if you have influence and rub shoulders with those who ought to be condemned, you have a responsibility to do so. I don't know who this Tom Brady guy is, but assuming that, as you say, he's responsible for Trump's support in Massachusetts, then I think it's reasonable to suggest that he should probably distance himself.

Though a refusal and a failure are two different things. The story suggests that it was an unwillingness, but not a particularly trenchant unwillingness, and that unwillingness was related to Trump being a friend, and not because of the opinion in question.

Tom Brady is a football player of some renown in Massachusetts. (American football)

Everyone in New England already knows Gisele keeps Tom's balls in her purse.

That's Teebow or some other player of that obnoxious game. I can't wait for high schools to prohibit it as damaging to the mental health of our youth already. It needs to go the way of mumblety peg.
