Trump's statements and promises

Assad's fiends have unleashed a sarin gas attack upon civilians in SLA-held territory. The world has reacted in horror to pictures of dying children. Here's what President Trump had to say:

Being funny isn't the point. I get that it can hit a nerve, though.
So what is? Is it supposed to be an accurate and truthful portrayal of some parallel universe in which the defining characteristic of far left is "being against eating babies"?

Clearly, you can't differentiate between incidental humour in a comic and a joke meme.

May be because he knows that sarin was stored in SLA ammo depot, destroyed by "Assad fiends".

You really find it plausible that the SLA has facilities that can store Sarin? You either know nothing whatever about Sarin, or you will believe any propaganda your government comes up with...

I would assume the people who attacked the subway in Tokyo with sarin did not manufacture it on the train.

You mean, Syria never had technology to produce and store sarin, or SLA never been able to seize ammo depots?

Edit: Yes, I find it more plausible than the version about Assad losing his mind and using chemical weapons. In the situation where he is winning the war and using them doesn't have military sense whatsoever.

Maybe captured sarin put in building.
Tempting target put on roof.
Assad bombs target without regard to adjacent civilians.
Sarin dispersed.

Silly considering the obvious point is to spread terror. It has nothing to do with "military sense."
Assad has already gassed his own people at least once that I know about. That he would do it again doesn't seem very far-fetched. It's not as if he's shy about killing his own people - that's what started this mess in the first place.

I can understand why the guy saturated with Russian propaganda believes the Russian/Assadist lies here. I'm much less sure why you do.

At least once that you've heard about, to be precise.

At Ghouta it was also obviously the government. The only people who disagreed were people saturated by Russian or Assadist propaganda. I'm not even counting the Syrian and Russian governments as disagreeing because they know full well who carried out these attacks, they're just lying through their teeth about it.

The opposition in Syria and Iraq have used gas.
They have rigged building too tempt air strikes resulting in collateral damage.
I am not taking any statements at face value.

This is not an argument and you know it. And I didn't even say the government couldn't do it, I said we can't trust reports from anti-government sources either.
No point in getting emotional and in trying to insult me over this.

That's understandable. Would be also nice to see the same level of respect, as you showed to the other poster who had the similar opinion as I did, but happened to be non-Russian.

Trump's constituencies, stated policies, and his political opponents have been brewing that one for a while. I guess we'll see if it keeps going or peters out.

General sort of feel I getting more frequently than before:

Spoiler :
I think some of these people are actually hurt.

Which is pretty funny if you're from around here in the 80s. Totally flipped perspectives from who on who.

In a saber-rattling tweet, Trump declared he was sending an "armada, very powerful" to the Korean peninsula. Except....

It's not an armada; it's a task force. And it's really headed for the Indian Ocean. :o

And I prefer not to be judgmental until clear evidence is presented. You know, like all brainwashed people do.

Brainwashed people hide behind "let's wait for all the evidence" whenever they can conveniently do so, so as to try to appear fair-minded and neutral. Such as if conclusive evidence either cannot or will not ever surface. And then sometimes conclusive evidence will surface, and they'll just dismiss it anyways.
