I haven't heard anything from a Western European leader on this crisis. What are the stances of Merkel, Cameron, and Hollande?

When it comes to Nazis:

BhquGgQCcAAPpup.jpg:large

This is the photo of the "hero" who put the Russian flag in the Ukrainian building yesterday.

It's a Russian from Moscow who came in Ukraine fight the "Nazis".

What is the massive building in the upper left corner/background?
Is Russia already near the parliament at Bucharest? :D

I fully support the Russian people in Crimea wanting to leave the failing state of Ukraine for their motherland. There will never be a major war over this. Not one of you even cared about the Ukraine or Crimea until the major news networks picked up on Euromaidan. John Kerry preaching about "21st century vs 19th century diplomacy" is supporting the most ridiculous double standard I've heard in years.

Also, no one cares about the Tartars.

Im an American, and Ill admit that in its superpower position America has committed some sins (iraw being the biggest one for sure), that doesnt mean every time some crackpot dictator beats on his people or Russia bullies a neighbor somehow its just beating back United States meddling. Sometimes there are other bad guys on the geopolitical stage, taking control of part of a neighbor is being a bad guy regardless of who is doing it.

Obviously all people are exactly like the 4 in those pictures. Because that's how anecdotal evidence works.

I don't think it's too much of a stretch to extrapolate, as Eastern Ukraine does have significant Russian populations that seem sympathetic enough to Russia to hold demonstrations on their behalf.

Considering each and every one of your post is a cesspool of blind propaganda that insult the intelligence of every human being by its very existence, you're really the very last person able to make such comment.

Tell the person who told you you're intelligent this, please: "nice joke!"

There are much more, just don't want to spam here. And the purpose of posting pictures here is not to work as anecdotal evidence.

Hmmmm.. Actually... The rest of those buildings look entirely like the center of the Parliament area in the Romanian capital (Bucharest).

Massive FACEPALM there, Domen (and mostly the media you got that pic from). It is not even in the Ukraine. (?) .. :\

(currently i tried to find images of the actual area this is supposed to be from, but didn't manage to. Not saying it has to be Bucharest, but here is a pic of that: ).

Hm, NM, LoneWolf provided a definitive answer... :) Bucharest y u no more distinctive?
:/

Tartars will be send to GULAG next day, if Russia takes control over Crimea. Putin, as a former KGB officer will surely punish all of them for discontent.

And some news:
Crimea forms its own fleet as Ukraine Navy chief sides with region
Rear admiral Denis Berezovsky, appointed as head of Ukraine's Navy forces just two days ago, has sworn allegiance to the people of Crimea.

Ramzan Kadyrov, one of the truest Russian patriots, says he have Crimean Tatars covered.

Nah, it's recognizably Kharkov, Ukraine, Liberty Square.

I too, however, would like some evidence that the people in question are the same person (edit: it appears that they are indeed the same person, and that he on his own Facebook explains that he wore the Nazi uniform as a part of a anti-Nazi live picture performance like this:

.

His justification seems credible enough for me. Nothing else on his page I've seen suggests that he's a nazi).

Yes, these are the places suffered from US attempted or actual aggression. What's wrong?
You really must have Nationalistic Blinders©, 5 cm thick over your eyes, to even dare to ask this question.
What's wrong ?
- That Russia is the one aggressing Ukraine, not USA ?
- That Lybia and Syria were (and still are) oppressive, authoritarian governements that repressed, tortured and killed (and still do for the latter) their citizen, unlike Ukraine ?
It depicts US meddling in Ukrainian affairs, promoting civil discontent and maidanism.
So Russia is invading Ukraine, but it's USA who is meddling ?
DO YOU EVEN READ WHAT YOU WRITE ?
This is going to happen, according to the author. Russia is supposed to prevent civil war and bloodshed which happened in all other places.
Russia is not PREVENTING civil war, it's trying to PROVOKE it.
How is it even possible to have so much bad faith ? Is there a contest here ?

:shake: it's Libya, not Lybia :). That other place is called Lydia, and was the country which fell to Persia, with Sardis being its old capital, in the 6th century BC ;)

Both of them are meddling. It'd be naive to think USA and EU didn't play an active role inciting the Arab Spring and the uprising in Ukraine.

If anything, Snowden has shown that USA and UK are doing well beyond what many "conspiracy theorsts" suspected in the realm of espionage.

Something like 25% of Germany's gas imports come from Russia. The Germans have for years maintained that Russia is a dependable partner, a reliable supplier, and there's no problem...

I won't defend the spying on people one inch, Snowden was a hero.

But regardless, let's stop the insanity : INVADING is several scales above "supporting a party".

Because destabilizing the entire middle east, including several dictatorships friendly to the west is so beneficial to the west isnt it?

Nobody is "aggressing" so far, but US politics in Ukraine can provoke civil war there.
Edit: You can call Russian actions aggression against wannabe government in Kiev, which took power by force. But it's nowhere an aggression against Ukrainian people or Crimean autonomy.

What it has to do with anything? Libya is also in Africa, unlike Ukraine, so what?

Russia is not PREVENTING civil war, it's trying to PROVOKE it.
And what the hell are the Russian benefits from having civil war in its own backyard? Explain please.

DO YOU EVEN READ WHAT YOU WRITE ?
Capital letters look impressive, but you should calm down.
