*facepalm*

Oh, now I figure you mean about him http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pol_Pot

I never heard about him. *facepalm*, well it is hard to know all commies, and also I lised 25 I know the most, few of them are Poles, which may be unknown for most of you, but also limit of 25 would not allow to list more. So thats why "Other" vote.

You didn't mention Tito, Kim Il Sung, Raúl Castro, Trotsky, Markos Vafiadis, Nikos Zachariadis, Hồ Chí Minh e.t.c.

I only knew about Raul Castro and Trosky from this list, and also I think that Raul Castro is not so important, as behind him is still Fidel I think. I forgot about Trotsky, but I think also he is not much so important to the Poll, and always someone can vote "Other" and there is limit to 25 possibilities.

Where is Jesus Christ?

Hm... You must be kidding, do you not? ;) And he was also much more before communism was invented. And as King of Poland he is Monarch rather than commie.

Pol Pot was an utter psychopath.

Yes, he looks such on picture or like some yakuza killer, and also what he did.... Crazy insane bastard.

The vast majority on this list sucked. With the exception of Marx, Lenin is about as close as the list gets to 'real' communism, not the bastardized dictatorships found by the rest of the leaders.
I would also like to add Kruschev to my list of 'not as bad'. He did at least try and de-stalinize the USSR.

Hm and Stalin on the lead? It was easy to predict :) 7 votes out of 19 which gives him 36.84% already.

How on earth is Zhirovsky a communist? Did you mean Zyuganov?

Oh hell, *facepalm*, I mix them up sometime by mistake. They both are somewhat similar by surname, also Zhirinovsky is nationalist, and he supported Saddam Husain, what makes him left-leaning a bit also... but *facepalm* I liked Zyuganov on the list as he is more like commies.

Commie #4522, for burning a child's mouth with a hot pocket.

Since Pol Pot has already been said....Mengistu?

Gorby - where in the communist manifesto are glasnost and perestroika?

Funny, as in the sense of "not a competent communist."

In the sense of "really lousy human being communist" I'd say it'd be a tie between Stalin and Mao - both mass murderers. Collectivisation in the 20's in Russia and the Cultural Revolution in China in the 50's and 60's killed 10's of millions.

How can you not have heard of Tito (leader of Yugoslavia at the same time as Stalin and Khrushchev), Ho Chi Minh (founder of Communist Vietnam, and leader of North Vietnam during the Vietnam War) and Kim Il Sung (Jong Il's father who is worshipped as a god in North Korea due to founding the country) at least?

I don't know Jaruzelski could be up there but Ulbricht, Gottwald, and Hoxha aren't.

*waits for one particular user to leap to the defense of Ulbricht as a great man and Hoxha as misunderstood...*

Sorry, I not noticed you asked about Tito, I knew him some. Ho Chi Minh - rather unfamiliar, sorry I am not deep into Vietnam. About Kim Il Sung - I know him, but in Polish his full name is Kim Ir Sen, so it confused me.
