Why do Ron Paul acolytes insist on referring to him as "Dr. Paul"?

He was a medical doctor. His specialty was OB GYN.

Yes, yes, but why should that have any relevance to his political career/ability to lead?

Because he's an MD and, more importantly, is much more honorable than anyone else in the Federal government.

I don't see why the former is relevant, or how the latter is anything but an opinion. How can you present any facts that prove that's the case?

Any movie that presents "anti-colonialism/imperialism" as a bad thing is quite the moral success story!

My favorite clip was an African American family fighting violently, turning-over-the-pieces-style, over a game of Monopoly. I'm not entirely certain what that is supposed to represent.

Although I should point out that before people mistake me I am not calling Obama a fascist. Heck I did not call the Republican Party who I despise fascists.

As for the next election I predict that the Democrats may have a chance. Hilliary Clinton has proven herself to be good in diplomacy and that is what we Brits like in our US presidents...

I have less love for the President than 90% of OT, and I also have less love for Mitt than about 90% of the GOP.

That said, Obama is a big government liberal. That's really what he is. Incredibly self-serving as well, and we can pretty much assume that anything he says about anything is a lie (Other than perhaps the "Liberal" part I could pretty much make the statement about Romney as well.)

I'm as fed up with big government "Conservatives" as I am with big government "Liberals" (Amazingly, "Small government liberals" don't really even exist in politics)

We're going to need some citations to back up the first claim - that Obama's actually a liberal. Because from over here, in NYC, he sure looks conservative

Also, aren't small government liberals simply 'Libertarians'? Isn't that the whole point of libertarianism? Of course, any libertarian that wants to determine the acceptable methods of stimulating the pubic nerve or which medical procedures a small business may specialize in is certainly NOT a libertarian, right?

Some people certainly were. Gingrich lead an impeachment of Clinton for no reason other than that Gingrich had to sit in the back of Air Force 1 one time.

It was much worse with Clinton, as mentioned, he was impeached, but in those days the media was more objective and Clinton was not so protected as Obama is now.
