Do changing avatars confuse you?

I'm still waiting for you to come Bach.

I'm notorious (in my mind, at least) for not really ever changing my avatar. Since I've joined I've had I think 4 avatars (not including April Fool's switches, but including the default starter avatar). I've been some variation of Azula since at least 2010

I tend to associate people with their avatars more because I can see the avatar out of the corner of my eye when I read the post. If I don't recognize the avatar, I take the extra couple seconds to read the username. I've been here long enough I know most people by their username too.

I don't swith avatars frequently. I think I've had four the whole time I've been here.

I've changed my avatar like three times. Default, to tiger, to this, I think?

edit: Wait, I just remembered Patrick. So four times.

I've changed mine a fair bit but try not to do it too quickly. I try to keep them for at least 2 weeks.

I wholeheartedly agree. For that reason, I try to keep my avatar changes as minimal as possible. And get mad when others don't abide by the same creed.

I think it's time for another avatar!

Dude, the Lieutenant is quality

Nope!

Mine's been a black-and-white picture of a deceased British general for quite a while now. It does sometimes confuse me when long-standing avatars change.

Yeah, I associate with avatars, which is why after I made my Planet Express Ship avatar I vowed not to change it, with only variations of the theme on certain holidays n'stuff.

Except for July, July is USA#1 month.

Nope, I've been around long enough to go by the user's tag.

I like how the moderatars put a 90 degree rotated background of my avatar in the lower righthand corner of my posts that are really worth reading.
