Unit is game tested

Completely inspired by the black knight from Monthy Python and the holy grail!

So I felt inspired to do another unit again, and I wanted to make this one for a while. I really like the movie and figured why not make one? Gave him his own attack animation, figured had to think of something . He is also hopping around in the run animation.

It's just a flesh wound!

Thanks for the compliments everyone, they do inspire me to make more and they also keep me from leaving unitmaking forever.

and Jorsalfare, I always include sound files in my downloads. Most of them are sounds form civ3 units edited slightly to fit the units I have. But if you can make them fit the unit then there is no harm to upload them is there?

A highly original and fun unit! The sounds have to include "it's just a flesh wound" in the death anim, surely ?

Incidently, apart from the originality and fun aspect, it's technically very well put together, which is "as per" for your units .

Here are the 4 sound pieces I extracted from the Black Knight scene. They have been tested in-game, but it might be necessary to fine-tune the various flc animation speeds to synch with the sound. And of course: feel free to further modify them any way you like.

And please ignore my suggestions (death, fortify etc..) if you prefer it different.

Great unit! Love it! Not too long ago, when I was doing some unit making, I kept thinking how fun it would be to make some "Holy Grail" units, with this being one of them, but I never got the time. I'm happy to see that you've made this. It's excellent!

That would be Knights (plural, they're conjoined triplets) that say 'Ni'. We already have a holy hand grenade in the database. I'd suggest further 1) a Killer Rabbit, 2) Modern London police, 3) Dominae Monks, to complete the set. The remainder of the cast are already available units (with some sound modifications, perhaps), though I will continue, as always, to lobby for a Bishop unit, even though there isn't one in the film, just on principle.
