NOTW L: The Immortals [Game Thread]

The Vampire King was shocked by the news of the Regent. "Have you looked in your sock drawer? When I lose something it is nearly always there!" Exar fidgeted around in a most un-king like manner. He saddled up tot he Regent and whispered "Perhaps it could have been someone in my household? I would check to see if your undergarments are missing. I am pretty sure one of my servants has been stealing mine and this armor is chafing something awful"

The Prespurian Regent lowers his head in humble service to his King, and addresses him:

"My liege, the thief ransacked my entire chambers, searching for the orb, and they found one. I have no need for personal security, as there are few who dare enter the chambers of a vampire at night, especially when the moon is full.

I regret that I was unable to catch them personally, as I was distracted by an important meeting with the VIP who needs the Entropy Mana. Unfortunately my duties do not allow me to act as palace guard in addition to Regent, and matters of state take precedence.

I do not need a permanent security detail, but I will be keeping the remaining Death Mana on me personally. I will have to be attacked, or they will have to visibly steal it from me. As such, if one of the palace guards can keep me company and watch me closely, I will deliver the important package and be done with it. Then it may be time for me to find another home for the other Death Mana as well. The thief cannot be allowed to obtain both."

I trust my fellow Sheaim Winston Hughes with the fire mana. Askthepizzaguy has claimed to be a middleman for Entropy mana, and I see no reason to not trust him as well. Kennigit wants the Sun mana, and I see no one disputing the claim. Bad Player is an adept and of course has an affinity for metamagic mana, and I am willing to trust King Morgan with the Mind mana.

I feel there is no legitimate case yet as to who might be the demon. thomas.berubeg is most likely innocent, yet truth was spoken when the regent said how this person at the very least is not helping us, and at worst hurting us.

Just a reminder that this Council should vote to give the meta-magic mana to me as Bad Player does not seem trustworthy and I would be a good steward for it.

Well, what's done is done. I don't feel confident anymore that I've done the right thing. However, someone who is deliberately not speaking to us or assisting us in any way is dead.

I am hoping that, even if we weren't successful, this was the 'least bad' lynch we could have come up with.

"I don't know what Backwards Logic's deal is. I have nothing clearing about Zack or Bad Player. Any of those accusations are fine with me, but if the gentlemen in question are innocent, their loss will be felt.

Without question, the Seon lynch was premature. Whether it was bad or not remains to be seen.

Perhaps, if Kennigit wants to return to the scene of the crime and attack Seon again, if he truly believes he's targeted a demon, and that he's caused damage, Seon would not stand up to another punishing assault. Or if Seon is innocent, it will do nothing to him, once again."

I'd distribute with claims.

I know thomas has been silent, but so has many people. For instance, I'd rather just lynch chinese warlord if he isn't this mystery person ATPG wants the entropy to go to and he has one. He hasn't posted all game.

What is KingMorgan's claim? Why is bad player particularly bad a choice or scummy looking? why are people telling various vampires that keep feeding on innocents various things for no reason?

We don't know thomas's strength, do we have any indication of chinese warlord's strength? If we lynch someone who claims the default strength we'd at least break even in the twon's strength if we're going to lynch a random.

partially we need complete lynches for exar's sake (we'll lose ~+3 STR to the town now from not distributing orbs to exar, assuming the thief was after death mana and would have stolen from him), but I am also disturbed by this rapid pace. We've already had 3 stances specifically on the entropy mana
(1) auto is scum for it
(2) it's okay to give to random person [chinese warlord] for no clarified reason
(3) there is a third person who actually wants it for reals this time, not like autolycus before.

TO SHIFT THAT PARADIGM A BIT, IF THOMAS.BERUBEG IS GUILTY, HIS LOSS WILL NOT BE FELT BY THE EVIL TEAM. IF BL, ZACK OR BP ARE GUILTY, THE EVIL TEAM HAS BEEN DEALT A BLOW.

AM I NAIVE TO THINK THAT HOLDING THE INNOCENT TEAM IN GENERAL OVER THAT PARTICULAR BARREL IS NOT A VIABLE WAY OF WINNING THIS?
