NOTW XXIX: Hired Swords - Game Thread

What I'm wondering is, if as the witchdoctor AskthePizzaguy claims, why hasn't he placed himself behind that move? Could it be because he wants as soft a link as possible between himself and the lynch when it becomes clear that I am loyal to the Company?

Hardly. If I wanted a link between myself and your lynch it would be as simple as accusing you. I am talking to people behind the scenes about a possible second suspect for the round.

But by all means, if you'd like me to accuse you I most certainly will.

"I've thought long and hard about this, and I think the safest course of action is to execute Autolycus. Quite frankly, I'm very surprised the lot of you are so easy to trust him again when it's known he was an Illian convert. Now he claims to be on our side again. Maybe, maybe not, but the whole 'now-that-Frozen's-dead-all-converts-are-now-innocent' needs to be thoroughly checked out.

"Do we know of any other converts? Frozen claimed to kill via freezing, and it should be pointed out that we are missing some freeze kills. Now if any others were converted during that time frame, theoretically they too would be innocent again. Now if Autolycus is lying about the whole thing, not only are we leaving one guilty one around, but we're leaving the rest of the converts around as well. By hanging Autolycus, his death would reveal a possible second/third threat looming that hasn't been accounted for yet. If he's innocent, then what he says was true and we have nothing to fear from other converts. I'd need to hear (either publicly or PM) a really strong case for leaving him around, because right now I think it's far too dangerous with too many unknowns.

"As for the sword, I don't trust Nictel with it, so I'll take it. Stuck in Pi can have the flask."

I'll leave my suspicions for tomorrow. Autolycus is the best candidate by far. I'd rather not introduce another suspect at this time, which tells the traitors here who not to kill.

Can i please pull a big red stop sign? The guy has a protection ability, he's the frikkin' angel, even if he's guilty or not. He's a great aid against the traitors. Remember that they are not at all on the same side and that the Illians are currently few in numbers, or completely gone.

So please withdraw your votes.

About the possibility of other converts, two things.
1. I don't think they could convert just anyone, otherwise why would they ever kill?
This makes me think that I was their first successful convert, otherwise why would they have introduced me to rhawn? If I'm right about that, the illians are gone.
2. It's also possible that there were three classes of people: unconvertable, permanently convertable, and convertable, but only as long as originals survive. There may be class 2 people still out there, who likely won't reveal themselves.

I beg you all, pleaaase support Autolycus. If we get two more support votes, hopefully none will die this day. He's, as I said earlier very important.

Backwards Logic's ... Logic make sense though.

Unless Autolycus knows some of his other (former?) team members, which we could test instead of him.

I believe that Autolycus is worth more alive than dead, even if we're unsure on his innocence. However, I to would like to question ATPG's lack of commitment to his so called "clear choice" as well as Nictel's failure to answer many people's suspicion.

As for the sword, BL can have it.

So what or who says he ain't protecting the last Illian? We could all be we walking in to a trap here.

Well, according to Autolycus, they are all dead.

So the the 'ex'-convert says all the conversionists are dead? I find only two Illians seriously doubtful. This is great evidence.

Of course we could! Isn't that fun? No seriously he's not worth the risk.

According to him, when the Illian leaders are dead, the bribed conversions will convert back. Which sounds plausible.

And besides, if he is innocent, he's keeping important people alive. I don't want to risk him dying and then our entire group falling apart due to a bad case of being stabbed to death.

So... How do we know all the Illian leaders are dead? Your saying that like there is more than 1, IIRC we only killed 1, Frozen in Ice.
