I was asleep most of the day with a migraine.... a few hours ago one of my online friends told me she was considering suicide. I was offline though and didnt get the message until several hours later and she hasnt been online since and I dont know where she lives to try to contact help

or i would do that

and now I feel crummy

Based on past evidence, you ignore any suggestions that would actually work and never respond to the conversation again unless it's to respond to someone giving a bad idea so you can say, "See! It's impossible!"

I like you, CG, but the incessant whining over being unemployed gets you nowhere, and there will come a day where nobody on this forum even responds to you anymore when you bring it up because they know anything they say will be discarded, never to be thought about again. I know there are already many who do that.

You're not a bad guy, though, so good luck with whatever you decide on doing.

If there's one thing about the Rants threads that will never change, it's that the majority of CG's rants will be about not having a job, and that the majority of PE's rants will be about CG's rants.

I vote we start titling these threads, "Not-so-Random CG/PE Rants".

Alternatively, we could start a new thread called "Predictable Rants." I could talk about laziness and academic pressures, CG could complain about singleness and unemployment, and PE could nervously anticipate the apocalypse, mourn his lack of alien poon,make jokes, and complain when people point out how terrible they are.

RANT 1: Blech, all the classes I want to take next semester look like they're filling up, I'd really rather they not, my backups aren't nearly as interesting/fun.

RANT 2: Oh god I'm kind of nervous about that girl I was mentioning sometime last weekish

I've probably already put her off

Take the initiative. As long as you aren't in her dorm there's really nothing lost in being forward. And yes, girls don't like pussyfooting.
