I meant to ask why you need to convince your parents to let you join a choir?

Because they weren't too willing to let me join in the first place, due to some unfounded reasons that I disproved.

Isn't Civ V supposed to have such ridiculously good graphics that it unnecessarily and massively slows the computer down?

It is not the graphics that slows the game down. It is the handling of computer resources, coding, that does. Not even the graphics coding. It is the coding around cities and settlers, that is causing major slow down.

Rave: Was able to get a Nvidea GT 430 for my son. Can now play Civ5 in 3D, just kidding. It is a huge step up from a 7900 and even cost less. He received Sonic Generations for Christmas and was a little peeved, the graphics cards around the house would not play it.

So I'm doing a transcription that's been painfully boring until now. It's a marketing study for a pharmaceutical corporation, interviewing a doctor.
And then the marketing guy starts pushing his "studies" that mail order pharmacies increase drug compliance.
The doctor, being, you know, a doctor, is familiar with how medical studies work, and starts pointing out all the things you'd need to control for in such a study for it to mean anything.
The marketing guy just cannot get a grip on how he could be saying the study is wrong but compliance is higher under mail orders.
It's hilarious watching someone unintentionally make the other one look stupid over and over again.

So, yesterday we went to the mall. As we were standing looking at the 2012 calendars booth, some teenage girls walked by, and one of them evidently dropped a bunch of coins on the ground. The group just looked at them, laughed, and kept walking. My thought process:

1) "That is really sad. Why didn't they take the time to pick them up?"
2) "Hey look, $1.96!"

The mall is fun.

Rave: I got very lucky with some drops in Morrowind, so now my level ten Redguard is walking around in full Ebony (with a daedric helm) and a Ebony Broadsword with a longsword skill of nearly 100!
Unfortunately, I have just about run out of space in my inventory carting around all of that armor, and the shield I am using isn't ebony, it is the Dwemer shield I picked up in Arkingthand.
My only problem is that now I am starting to run into rather strong bonewalkers and bonelords, so the meager amount of restore strength potions I have aren't quite sufficient.
