Waoh, I didn't think that Luton Airport was that away from London centre !! It seems that a flight with EasyJet is a bit cheaper than the Eurostar, but then Waterloo-the-shame Station really is in the centre... How much would a come-and-go ticket between Luton and whatever centre tube station cost me ?

Still undecided... Saturday is cheap, but Sunday is not. And BTW, is there anything going on Sunday ? Dunno where to sleep, but I was actually thinking about enjoying the London night before getting back to the continent early in the morning (7-8 am). What about ? :)
Maybe Rik/Stapel/Matrix might be doing summin on sunday?

Oh, I should also mention i'm happy to give my mobile number to anyone for the meet:) Especially Kan and others who might get lost! heh!

Non-com - I got a new number, so u want me to send you new one?

Also 11 might be a bit early for me.... But whatever
You're pitiful :shake:

You live right in the centre of London, and some attendees are coming from the NEtherlands
Go figure :p

So..anyone not want to meet at a Starbucks in Tottenham Court?

Yeah, the International Socialist Organisation.

Coincidentally, he also needs a lift home.

I agree with non-con and davo -- meet up same place as last time, and if we wanna go to Brick Lane we can just take it from there!

That's practically a confirmation and a decision, so I'm quoting it it. So where was this last place? :mischief:

Feel free, I figured closer to the actual date people would swap actual mobile numbers and possibly photo's anyway, and I pretty much know what you look like (Captain Caveman/Cousin It style haircut? :mischief: )

:p

I should regonise you fine from myspace.

Last place is shown in Ram's OP on the last thread http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=130464

It is indeed easy to get to..anyone object to making it the official meeting point?
I think that it is a good idea.

Epsom :) . Farnborough's in the same county though (I think...).
we could travel together on the day itself to the Starbucks at Oxford Street.

Maybe, maybe not, but it doesn't answer my question, ie. where you guys plan to be during the night : out downtown for a long night (why not), or at a sleeping place somewhere. This is what prevents me from booking my trip right now. :scan:

EDIT : I may have a place, I'll check...

The morning train :p

Looking at the train maps, the direct train from Farnham to London doesn't go through Epsom, although if you wanted to change at Guildford for trains to London through Epsom you could do that also :) (although I don't think there's many trains from Guildford to Epsom, they're normally from Dorking).

Alternatively we could arrange to meet at Waterloo and travel up to Starbucks together from there.

BTW, when you book a ticket to London, ask for a Travelcard to be put onto it, because you can save a LOT of money by booking the train ticket together with the Underground travel card (free transport on all London buses and Underground). For me it actually works out cheaper to buy a ticket to London AND a Travelcard than it does to buy a Travelcard on its own at an underground station...
