I imagine Stapel wandering around was a dead giveaway. ;)

Isn't London like 100 times more expensive then other England parts? (going to pubs)

Geenrally, yes, but it depends where you go. The North Pole, for example, is pretty cheap, and compares well with wine bars up and down the land (and not just on the basis of price).

 You're going to have so much fun. Drinking games?

If you guys spend too much I can wire some funds and support your drinking escapades however it is dependent on the quality of pictures. Holly and I crushed the casino when we were there last year and paid for our whole trip. I have some excess pounds under the mattress that have appreciated mightily this year (~18%?).

btw Holly didn't understand that pounds were worth considerably more than dollars when she was betting. :xeyes:

Here's my visual of the event.

Due to procrastination I haven't booked a place to stay with my godmother ... I'll get the earliest train I can wake up for and arrive some time in the morning (or early afternoon). Last train home on Saturday is 9:50 - or shall I hunt down a hostel or something? Anyway, I'm definitely planning on coming.

Well, it's all up to you in the end. But leaving at the beginning of the evening would cut your whole evening (obviously), and I think it'd be a bit of a waste. I'm also searching for cheap places to stay in London, I'll try to come with good adresses tomorrow ; the only thing is that I'm not sure I wanna book a bed (I may not even be sure by tomorrow evening :crazyeye: ), so... I don't know. :D But again, it's about what you want to do.

If a few people are interested, and if we decide not to go out until the end of the night, we may want to book a cheap bedroom. I'm browsing a site where they have youth hostels with 4-bed rooms at 10-15 € per person (less than 10 £) for one night. Obviously it'll be a bit more difficult or expensive for a girl (since there aren't that many girls at CFC, thus coming to the meetup), depending on what she wants : mixity or not. We can see that tomorrow maybe.
