How to throw and take a good punch.
Why? Quite a lot of the 'manly' things on this thread sound a bit too much like people trying to compensate for something. And that's coming from a (sadly former) boxer.

I'm a freshman in high school right now. And thank you, but I've only had bullies one time and I took care of them (by telling the teachers - it was 2nd grade).
To know what it's like. I didn't say you had to be great at it. But a man who never knows what throwing or receiving a punch is like is less likely to be in control of his emotions and actions when involved in physical violence, both received from others, and violence he enacts, simply because it's all an unknown quality to him. Why? Flying Pig is like a 69 year old ex-commando though...
Ok, a para? I get mixed up when it comes to the names of trained killers

I was in 2nd grade and my aggressors were in 3rd grade. I couldn't take them, so I told the teachers. I couldn't really do anything else.
In 6th grade some guy was being mean to me, so I fought him verbally. In both instances I was good friends with the bullys afterwards.

I never understood why many people seem to believe that knowing how to fight means being a brute.agreednever understood why many people seem to believe that being a man means being a brute...
