No one's engaged? I thought for sure there was at least.....*counts in head* five?

That's not true either! You do have to apply yourself though.

You can't get a girl if you complain about it and put yourself down. Look at yourself in a better light and more people will be attracted to you. People can feel your negativity. (This is directed at CivGeneral, which sorta goes hand-in-hand with what you said)

A year doesn't count as long term? Wow, I was so impressed with my almost-10-months . . .
Well, I'm not saying it's not, just that I'm not sure. People seem to use the term in different ways, so I'm never sure what the difference is between "long-term relationship" and just "been going out for a while".

In my case I can call it long-term, I intend to be with her indefinitely, and have to start thinking about whether I intend to be with her forever. Whereas I suppose some people can spend even longer in relationships without thinking that.

I don't really have a girlfriend right now. I am somewhat involved with a married woman who happen to be my co-worker, which I am beginning to regret because she has suggested to me last week that she is thinking of leaving her husband. I do not want to be a step-father. Hell no!

I do occasionally go on dates. Too many immature beotches in my neck-of-the-woods to find a diamond in the rough.

There is only one logical answer for someone in my location.

You're a premie. This will only lead to heartbreak, dispair, and dear john letters.

ITS A TRAP

Yes, this I know. :yup: No truer words have been spoken.

That said, it's impossible not for dating around to yield something after one hits 12 dates.

well........it's overwhelmingly single.......does that mean we're all losers?

Well if that's the case, why don't you accept your lot in life and stop complaining?

I'm getting to that point. Any relationship I get into is ultimately futile and that is besides the point anyway since I haven't gotten close in over a year.

I thought getting to college meant I would meet a mature girl or at least someone I can screw around with but I'm getting nothing. Oh well.

why did i find it ridiculously easy to find girl friends once i went to college? You guys make it sound difficult...

Yeah I haven't had much lady luck in college either. I don't know if it's because I'm bad with women, of if my apathetic self just isn't trying hard enough to find one.

I don't sweat it though...no need to. Why fret over girls? Never envy a man for his woman, as Charles Bukowski once said.
