This looks to me as though you're both saying, "I'll support extremists, even if they have a reputation for violence and volatile rhetoric, as long as they tolerate my demographic - I really don't care about what happens to your demographic." I am not opposed to those notions advocated as a basis of Social Neo-Liberalism and Progressivism. Quite the contrary, I'm an ardent supporter of them. I believe in true equality. Unfortunately, people who made vitriolic, rage-driven, accusatory speeches and quotes pushing a sharp, stark, and uncompromising binary viewpoint and forming or supporting gangs of hooligans who engage in extra-legal violence, intimidation, and destruction - whether they exist on either far-end of the political spectrum, notwithstanding - can't be trusted to maintain or hold to any noble or admirable goals they may start with if they acquire full socio-political power, but almost always devolve into monstrous, horrid regimes of oppression and mass murder and injustice. History has bourn this out, too. Cooler heads with a sense of proportion and perspective, and a fairer and more balanced viewpoint than is typical (read: at all extant) in the current day and age, are what's really needed in the halls of power right now.

God help the people in South Dakota going into the Thanksgiving holiday. They're already putting up 60% positivity rates and shipping patients out-of-state for treatment because their hospitals are at 100% capacity.

I saw an interview of a South Dakota nurse who said that she was treating COVID patients on their deathbeds who went to their deaths alone and angry, denying to their death that they had COVID, swearing that it was impossible for them to have COVID because it was a liberal hoax.

Now the other guy doesn't think there is a scenario in the universe where he loses anything. There's been a few articles on this election thing, but it's all been very low key, so it's not that odd you may have missed it. I'll try to look for some sources. Making no promises though.

Also a couple of extremy right wing people wanted to kidnap a Michigan Governor. Plan B was to shoot a bunch of public officials, and plan C was to just burn it all and have no survivors. You know, as you do. Posted the story a page ago.
