I don't know what to say. I clearly define the point I'm making, on several occasions, as being about extreme examples. I even go ahead and define that as death, and then our resident walking amygdala hijack throws every single one of her experiences, none of which, obviously, being the extreme example I'm talking about, up against the wall like a pile of mud, hoping something will stick.

It would be more healthy to spend my time learning about your problems? I think you don't realize how this works. People care only for a few others, good friends or family. The further away you go, the more specific the trigger to care gets.
I think you're assuming whats true for you is true for everyone.

I've gone a bit down the same path you're going here, but in real life. Whether it starts from something big or small, it doesn't matter because it spirals out.
As for your representation, you misunderstand me, so I'll give you something more concrete. Like many people, I don't have much real life experience with your minority, and I had some questions to ask in emzie's thread. But after reading it to see if it was asked, I've decided to not ask because you'd quite likely go ballistic because you'd choose to take them as personal insult, like you did before in that thread.
Be it real life or internet, **** tends to splash around and and land where you don't intend it, so don't be hasty in throwing it around.

Yes, and, going back to my example in the situation I brought up before you turned this into a transgender issue, but kids HAVE died in hot cars too. In this very year alone! There's a range of bad things that can happen to you. The more benign have a higher probability of occurring. The more extreme less so. There is potential that worrying about the more extreme ones isn't particularly sensible. This should not be a contentious statement.
Honestly. I don't know why I bother. I should just thank the stars for having such a great Republican recruiter like you to help us out and leave it at that.
You possibly didn't focus on the last sentence, which leaves room for any other care (after all, obviously other care does exist, and on occasion for/by everyone, including myself).
At any rate I hope we agree that everyone is free to care about whatever they wish, and not care about whatever they wish, and there is no morality involved unless there is direct responsibility.

One of the Republicans may eventually figure out that there is a power vacuum and step into it. The ones who followed Trump might be too conditioned to realize it ATM, but that will wear off.
IIRC reporters found relatives of Obama in other countries who were similarly disintetested/unsupportive.
