Wow! We already have half of these in law, as is, in Canada. And all but one (wealth tax), the Conservative Party of Canada has no aggressive platform as written to fight electorally.

Sanders: breathes air and eats food.
Trump: breathes air and eats food.
By my metrics they are exactly the same.
I expect that late in year one or into year two and that is why his VP choice is so important. My worry is that Biden will go against trump, crap himself on stage, stumble over his lines and generally show the full extent of how far his brain rot has progressed; handing it over to trump who has no issue with going as dirty as needed to win

You forgot the part of the debate where the moderators and/or Joe walk Sanders into a communist trap and then Sanders goes out of his way to die on the Fidel Castro hill instead of just denouncing the guy.The 15th.
Unless someone gets through to Sanders I expect it to be Sanders hammering how Biden is a bad candidate while Biden talks about how Sanders is a good candidate but Biden is a better candidate. The Sanders faithful will come away convinced that their guy 'really took it to him' and Biden will then win all the primaries on the 17th.

I don't know how much this has hurt him in the past but it could not have helped.

Sanders needs to hammer that Biden has dementia. Biden's real backers are the party elite, the professional-manegarial class who things they ought to own the country. But most of his voters have been the followers of wherever the wind seems to be blowing. They'll vote for someone who appears strong. Sander's mistake is being himself, too nice. He needs to act decisive and attack, attack, expose Biden for the empty figurehead he his. He doesn't even need to attack Biden the man, he needs to say plainly that he's a frail man who should be retired and was put up by the DNC to prevent any change in the country.
Biden will we worked up hearing that, true. It'll just make him go off-script had show how lost is ind already is.
Can Sanders finally show the necessary killer instinct? Because he'll need it against Trump also.
Is it blasphemy to say another world leader has a good healthcare system, but everything else about him is rotten, and maybe that should be a wake-up call for all Americans' handle healthcare. That's how I would have answered the question. Although, I myself, would have probably pointed out Castro came to power in the first place popularly overthrowing Batista, the corrupt American-backed tyrant who jailed and killed his own people with no due process to bring McCarthyism to his island, and seized, with no compensation and through armed thugs, the land of poor, smallholder peasants to sell dirt-cheap to the Mafia to build resorts and casinos for American tourists, or that the American embargo, which was based purely on Cold War ideology, and for no better reason, forced Castro's hand on a lot of his horrible tactics - but going THAT far wouldn't have helped Sanders.
Bernie was a idiot for going to Moscow. His file has been found in Yaroslav.
Even in the 80s he could have visited Aussie, NZ, Scandinavia etc to see the welfare state. But no he goes to Cuba and Moscow.
That's fine but it's a bad look later when you seek national office.
Awesome Tubular Reaganomics!...... the 80s called and would like their talking-points back now.

And the not-insane half of the electorate is suspicious to say the least.Trump went to Moscow, too, before running for President... on a "business trip."

He wasn't playing politics though.
Mayor playing at being an international statesman.
The Soviets wanted to use Sanders. Every institution over there was corrupted.
There's nothing incriminating in Sanders Soviet file from his end, they just wanted to use him for propaganda.
He be why There's a difference between going there privately vs elected official.
