City graphics: Europe and Mediterranean - combined!

I love the color scheme you choose for them. South-East Asia has alot of red in their arcatecture, from what I've seen. you've got their shape, style and color down perfectly! These are some of the best city graphics I've ever seen as a matter of fact! I'm not joking or being sarcastic...I mean it!

Thank you, Sword of Geddon! I doubt they would look half as good or accurate if I didn't have your pictures to look off of :)

Here's the next preview, industrial cities:

Looks good. If you could clean up that white pixels, and make some colour corections, than it is nearly perfect. I made that for your left pic, hopefully it's visible what I mean (left is your original, right side is with little corrections).

Thanks Arne :) That will save me alot of work later.
I've yet to really get the hang of that.

I'm glad you (and so many other people) have taken the time to touch up on my cities. I really appreciate the help.

These cities are excellent, and tho South Asia they belong, possibly including Burma & Malaysia. Other nations of Southeast Asia (Ayuttahya, Khmer) could belong to this group but more likely they would fit better with Annam in the East Asia cultural group.
I like your last proposal Rita Poon.

Note that last pic posted (ancient city) is actually a reproduction of a chinese temple (the whole ancient city stuff is a park reproducing famous buildings at smaller scale) :D

Thanks a lot for doing these :goodjob: !! I've combined the European and Mediterranean cultures in my personal mod to make way for an African culture. I was looking for something like this - these cities will be perfect. Thanks also to NateDawgNY for sorting out the pallette issues ;) .

Awesome idea! Thanks. And thank you, Redalert.

I'm "cookin" (or trying to). Besides the fact that I've had about 50 million other things to do this week, I'm still searching for some inspiration for the modern cities. I still hope to have them done soon, though. It helps to know they will be used, even before they are done!

Oh, and thanks everyone for your comments :) I'm glad you like.

I think those are excellent, Sword of Geddon. I'm sorry for the late reply, btw.

Since I have more free time now, I think I"ll finish these up. I've attached a preview of a modern city I was playing with before you posted those pics that I am now not entirely happy with. Any comments or suggestions? Anyone?

I'd put a few more buildings by the Temple, some small ones perhaps? Is that a town incarnation?

BTW, I posted what work you've done so far in the "Redalert's Southeast Asian City Graphics" thread. I honestly didn't think you were going to finish these, so, fearing theyd fall into Forum Limbo, I decided to post what you had accomplished so far. I hope you don't mind... :goodjob:

That's fine by me. They have to get posted, even if not by me :D . Thanks for your concern. As with most of my projects, I tend to work off and on. I suppose you could just update when I get these completely done. Btw, I'm going to start my own city previews thread in the main C&C forum, so all my future works will be seen there and so I'm not taking up space in other threads like this one.

edit: yes, the above is a town. I suppose some smaller buildings would be good for it at least.

Oui, monsieur :) I'll repost the previews of my seasian cities along with.... well.... you'll see ;)

Well, these combine both Mediterrenean and European culture groups.
Using these to replace, say, the European city graphics and then setting all the mediterrenean civs to european would free up the mediterrenean culture group for replacement by a new culture group of your choosing, if that's what you mean.
