21: When claiming territories in war, each one will count as half a claim point, conquered or non. So if you claim five territories but also take one province, you will only get four claims plus that one province you conquered. If you'd prefer claims first, conquests second, let me know.

GM Announcement:

On second thought, I changed NPCs a bit. I decided to give them a bit of flavor to make the game more interesting; Venice, for instance, is now a trading empire, and the NCSA and Mesopotamia - now the Caliphate - are intensely religious states.

I don't think NPCs should be able to attack actual players, but I decided that this would allow them to be a bit more interesting rather than taking up land.

Overview: This nation formed out of France and the Tibet regions in Asia. It's surprising that they have one leader to unite their very different peoples but in reality they're not so different after all.

Color: Vivid Burgundy (r,g,b- 159, 29, 53)

Current Ruler: Padma Burgoyne

Capital: Dijon

Government: Absolute Monarchy

Style: We hold strong to territories in Tibet, but we also seek to expand into France more.

Social policy: As we are a people of mixed nationalities, we are generally acceptant of any people.

Economic policy: Queen Padma controls all goods, but is generally benevolent.

Political Rights: The standard five freedoms, but if treason is regarded as unjustified, you will be jailed.

Economy: With spices from Asia, our small but strong French territories live in luxury.

Military: Standard Wushu fighting tactics mixed with modern-day guns and such.

I proclaim the Footballing Republic of Brasilinho (Brasilinho = Little Brazil). We control these parts of Brazil: (except the green and orange parts, and the yellow state thats the furthest North and West)

Style: Extremely rich culture, and football. and more football. and more football.

Social Policy: Acceptant of everyone, quite liberal.

Economic Policy: Socialist, similar to the Netherlands and Sweden.

Political Rights: See Dutch law.

Economy: Brazilians are very generous - Compared to Europeans, we earn half and pay double. We export massive amounts of food, use local sugar instead of petrol, and export a bit of wood, sugar, oil, diamonds and rubber as well.

Military: Every Brazilian is required to serve in the military for 2 years. Not that its actually ever needed.

(This is based on RL, some Brazilian jokes and a little bit on my view on how it could improve).

EDIT: Wait, I only claimed four territories? Sweet, 6 more states!!!
EDIT2: Does DF (equivalent of DC in America) count as a territory in itself? If so, take away the Northern-most state.

The Pharaohate of the Nile​

Government: The Pharaoh controls the executive power, he is at the head of the legislative body, The Council Nile (which contains 291 members, ten from each governate and the Pharaoh), and he is the only justice in their national court system, The Court Nile. His advisors, The Cabinet Nile, hold no real power and serve to advise him. Unless there is a near-unanimous vote, the Pharaoh can veto the rest of the Council Nile. The Pharaoh is also at the head of the social caste.

If the Pharaoh dies in office, then members of The Cabinet Nile vote on who shall become the next Pharaoh. They first hold nominations. There can be no less than ten nominees, no more than fifty. After nominations, they vote for up to five people who they wish to be Pharaoh. The person with the most votes is then Pharaoh.

Style: Mildly aggressive.

Social policy: They have a caste system. The pyramid has the Pharaoh at the top, and everyone else at the second and final level.

Economic policy: Socialist. Pharaoh owns all.

Political Rights: People have virtually no political rights.

Economy: The economy thrives on tourism and river trade.

Military: The Nile has an average military.

Color: I'll keep my Imperial purple

Current Ruler: King Richard VI (Richard Edward Geoffrey)

Current Dynasty: Plantagenet

Capital: London

Government: Constitutional monarchy. The King governs in accordance with Magna Carta and has the absolute veto on any legislature agreed by the bicameral Parliament, as his signature is required. His government is composed of 650 directly elected MPs drawn from all over Britain and some 250 hereditary peers, all of whom owe allegiance to the various political parties. The Social Democratic Party are currently in power and their leader, Harold Turner, serves as Prime Minister.

Style: Expansionistic, navally powerful and culturally highly developed.

Social policy: Although there are clearly defined social strata in the Angevin society, their society is extremely liberal overall. Tobacco, alcohol, petrol and high incomes are heavily taxed and most of the national services (transport, power, education & social welfare) are nationalised and heavily subsidised.

Economic policy: Socialist capitalists (as above), with developed trade with the rest of Europe and the New World. Tourism and leisure are important struts in the Angevin economy, especially as the heavy manufacturing businesses that dominated Britain in the 19th & 20th Centuries have been heavily scaled back and new high-tech, clean-energy companies have been encouraged to stimulate the economy.

Political Rights: People enjoy all the rights and privileges of every modern First World nation, with the notions of equality, freedom of speech and habeas corpus as important parts of the Angevin legal code. Personal firearms and recreational drug use are illegal and capital punishment has been stricken from the law books for over 70 years.

Military: Britain has a comparatively small army, but a highly developed air force and the Angevin Navy is quite possibly the paramount naval defensive force in the world.

Oh dear. All those minutes at 4:00 AM thinking of a good name for my Italian Empire almost wasted.
If you want, Zelet, you could just get (including) Rome upwards with Italy's islands (except for Sicily and Malta) and expand northward, while I get downward of Rome with Tripoli and the North Coast of Libya like I had last time.

If you agree, then my capital will be Tripoli with the same color.
