Need Help In Adding New Units From This Site

Hey everyone! What I was wondering is how to get the units to show up in the civilpedia and in the edit icon list so you can add that new units icon picture. I'm following all the directions I've been given but nothing is working. By the way it is for the Civ 3 origanal game. I download the file into the Art/units site. From there the edit doesnt show the icon when I go to scenarios. I do have the 1.29 patch so that isnt the problem. When I try to add the files to the pediaicon section or the civilpedia section it either wont save (tells me it is a read only file and I get errors) or it wont copy and paste to the pediaicon. What am I doing wrong??? Some of these new units are really cool and I would love to add them. I would appreciate any comments or help!! By the way I play Civ 3 almost 8hrs a day I love it so much!! Thanks!

Edit : Anyway, here my 2 cts : Just do a right clic on the txt files, choose Properties and uncheck 'Read only'. Now, you'll be able to modify them.
