The Adventurer walks on over to the group gathered. He feels extremely sorry for those who have lost their horses. While he didn't ride one himself, he couldn't help but feel saddened at the loss of them and what they meant to their riders. Having been all over the country, he'd come in contact with many creatures and he'd come to respect horses for their strength and smarts. Because really, some animals were just dumb. Like deer. I mean, you're about to shoot them and all, and they just look at you with this clueless stare. Can't you see I'm about to make venison jerky out of you? And you're just standing there with a clump of vegetation hanging stupidly out of your mouth? Anyway, his thoughts returned to the grim reality at hand.
"Just when you think you've seen it all, it gets worse." He looks over at the Captain's body. He'd seen death before, hell, they all had, but the sight of their leader crumpled in a pool of his own was slightly revolting. "Someone get blanket to cover his body. Show the man some respect as opposed to just staring at him."
"With Khazaar's nomination of myself as new leader I would like to formally announce that I accept. If there others who agree, please step forward. If a better candidate can be found have them step forward now. We have a long day ahead of us and the sooner we establish a new captain the sooner we can find who's causing this mayhem."
