Show me your orders/battle plans!

you can just use thread tools you know, not necessarily posting.

who cares about PC? its p/d thats more important ;)

or maybe we should get a PQI (post quality index) :p

These two are from the first two turns (I think) of Josef's NES. I was planning big things for the HRE before I quit and the NES died.

But I'll bet I was planning bigger. ;) Not sure if I have the orders anymore, though.

Your BT orders make me thinking about a "What If" for AFSNES: What if I didn't organize with Rome an (unsuccesful) alliance to destroy Tartessos? Mmm...I would probably gained influence in Italy under your influence earlier, but I prefer the current situation XD.

Liguria certainly would have been greatly different culturally; more cosmopolitan, less xenophobic, more Hellenised and so on. Belenuism as the religion we know today may never have actually emerged; the specific religious movement that succeeded could only do it in the conditions of immense adversity provided by the Tartessians.

Pretty hard to say how everything else would've worked out, though. I think that, as long as the Tartessians still held on to Iberia and central Italy, Liguria would've had to either submit (probably as a largely autonomous tributary state) or die either way.

I'm not sure about influence in Italy; the Athanoi were a powerful barrier before they were finally exhausted and washed away (figuratively speaking, ofcourse; as a matter of fact, there still are Athanoi tribes in your lands, but they're mostly irrelevant).

My orders are considerably shorter than everyone elses:

1. Create a city in the new fishing village create in "North Wales" This will act as the first port of call for trade coming from our other colonies.
2. Train up 10 Professionals.

DOMESTIC

Obviously domestically the midwives continue their work, branching out to the new towns they are growing rapidly aswell.

The Southern Colony of the Scottish nation becomes our own as trade and Alliance agreements are signed. The wealth this colony is generating continues to go to its originial nation- they need as much help as they can get!

The new fishing town in "North Wales" sees shorter shipping and safer shipping for our Irish and Scottish Colonys (+trade?)

In June, King Abaddon proclaims a week of celebrations following the Birth of his first male Heir; Aiken Drumn.

WAR

Expansion continues, though at a slower pace. We approach neighbouring small tribes and try to encourage them to join up with our nation before resourting to the "stick" approach.

Our 5 New professional Divisions is swelled with 5 Royally led levies (By the Kings cousin; Slozen The Ger)

These sail out with the defence of Triremes to the Roman town marked on the map. We are to sail directly into the natural harbour and claim the land for its people. The town is a long long distance from Rome and we hope to find a local leader who will take control and engender a new rebel nation.

Combined with the various other wars and distracting landings made by my allies, Rome should be too busy to deal with the trifling matter of one Rebelling town for now.

The second order of attack is up the Seine.

Our 5 New professional Divisions is swelled with 5 Royally led levies (By the Kings Uncle; Krul BlackBlade)

These will sail up the Seine in order to cut the supply lines of the advancing Roman armys. Where possible they will surround supply caravans in order for no-one to escape and tell of our involvement. Any spare supplies will be sent downriver for Bel_Gal. They will hide within the wooded areas there, not engaging in the enemy. This force should isolate the advanced Roman Army, and delay any other advances. If things become very desperate, they will throw themselves into the battle proper. Bel_Gal will persevere!

Colonies (Government/Income/Militia/Confidence):
Nation Background: Belgium, after gaining independence from the Netherlands in 1830, has played the part of a neutral nation to the hilt. The Great European War wiped out the possibility of Belgian participation in the Scramble for Africa, and instead forced the Belgians inward to reconstruction; the nation has consequently grown into one of the most industrialized in Europe. Belgian neutrality, critical to the British, has been guaranteed by both Britain and Germany (originally against France following the Great European War), but it is entirely possible that either could violate it in the upcoming global war.

Economic Policy [2 + 3 = 5 EP]

1.) Military Upkeep Expenditure (5>4) 1 EP
2.) Secret Military Research Project (4>3) 1 EP: See Military Policy
3.) Aviation Research (3>2) 1 EP: See Domestic Policy
4.) Increase Bureaucracy (2>1) 1 EP: See Domestic Policy
5.) Increase Infrastructure (1>0) 1 EP: See Domestic Policy

Foreign Policy

1.) Officially join the Triple Alliance under the form of a defensive and not offensive alliance against France and the United Kingdom.
2.) Send some industrial engineers to Brazil to help them design and build factories and mines. In exchange for what will be trade through Brazil to Belgium.
3.) Accept engineers and scientists from America and Germany to aid us in whatever fields we need.

Espionage Policy:

1.) Begin a spy resistance program to hunt down and capture enemy spies which are bound to come.
2.) Monitor all trade ships from Entente members. They may try to start problems in the government.

Domestic Policy:

1.) Economy #4: The raise in the bureaucracy level will come from the change in recent diplomatic struggle from neutrality to full member of a defensive alliance for the defense of Belgium and its interests. The bringing of new technology and trade from resource giants like America, Germany and Brazil will no doubt give the people a economic boom which will cause nothing but celebration. The noticeable strength of the Triple Alliance over the Entente is vast. Spread articles in newspapers about the incompetence of French politicians and the stupidity of the Emperor.
2.) Economy #5: As above the raise of infrastructure will only continue the boost in confidence in the government. The new trade influx from our allies will give us reason to increase the rail, road and size of sea ports. Begin to focus a lot on air trade and air mail. We will use this to give ourselves a steady and up to date view on everything in the nation. If we can try and cut down our trade with France. Try to stop train lines and focus more on German trains and trade.
3.) We need to get the government on a single path. One of militarism and solid dislike of liberal monarchy that is France. Belgium is conservative under the catholic party. These ideals are the ones we should spread through the country with newspapers and speeches. As for militarism, the current Prime Minster vows the military will not exceed beyond ten infantry divisions, one tank brigade, ten fighter squadrons and fifteen artillery brigades except under a defensive war. A navy is not seen necessary by the current Prime Minister as we get our defense from the German and Russian fleet and the cost to maintain a navy outweighs the need of one. The party is dedicated to the further modernization of all parts of Belgium and the increase of living standards and pay standards for all. Including future healthcare programs and other miscellaneous things.
4.) Economy #3: Research in the aviation field is seen as domestic and military at this time. The main focus of this years research and development is increased engine power and stability under high speed and heavier loads. We also devote some of our budget to design and material research.

Military Policy:

1.) Economy #2: SECRET PROJECT: (Name: Sprouts): Anti-Armor Infantry Weaponry: The project is for the research in the field of anti-armor combat by infantry. Our goals for this are as follows.

-Mobile single or two man weaponry capable of penetrating modern armor with modality for armor increases. Such as Anti-Tank Rifles and Rocket-Propelled-Grenades.
-Ease of use for soldiers
-Advanced grenades designed to stick to enemy tanks via magnetism.
-Ability to mass produce such weapons.

This is to be kept secret from our enemies and maybe even our allies. But this will be deployed in mass to our allies once completed.

2.) The map below is showing the location of all five infantry divisions (who have three attached artillery brigades each) and the air squadrons locations.

3.) We will be receiving weapons and some tanks from the Germans. This one tank brigade is for our use to improve upon and for our defense. It is to be located at Bruges Division.
4.) In the case of invasion follow the doctrine.

Military Doctrine:

Overview of Belgian Armed Forces:

-5 Infantry Divisions
-10 Artillery Brigades
-1 Tank Brigade (from Germany)
-5 Fighter Squadrons

From this I see Belgium is strategically weak in the form of military size and lack of navy. So our combat relies on our effective use of infrastructure to move around and get the upper hand on the enemy through knowledge of terrain and superior use of artillery.

While on the offensive in Belgium we have the use of all rail lines and thus the speed of which we can move around is fairly fast compared to our enemies. We also have the advantage of mobile artillery through trains. We can fire and move within twenty minutes. This only applies when we have air superiority. Our infantry tactics are nearly always of speed heavy use of artillery and other explosives with smoke. We cannot afford to be stopped and stalled with our small numbers compared to our enemies. We must always be moving. We will use the air craft for anti-tank and artillery purposes. If we need to we can destroy roads and bridges the enemy may have captured or near capturing with these planes. Our troops have a much great ratio of machine gun/sub-machine guns to rifles. This gives us the advantage of superior fire power in close range and mid range battles. Making contact with our troops in urban environments very unfortunate. We lack a massive armored army like the French and others so this is our weakness above all others. We will in the event of war use many mines and when completed our anti-armor weaponry will give us a huge advantage in this area. Making the tanks weak and not a strong weapon against us.

We will not resort to trench warfare as it will destroy the infrastructure of the country. We will instead rely on the speed and effectiveness of the trains and vehicles.

To Mod: Sorry these orders are not detailed enough in some areas. Mainly my lack of skill at military doctrines. But these orders should be sufficient for the Belgians for at least one turn.

Notes to Dachspmg: I am not using logistics because I am not on the offensive and within my borders. Sorry these orders are short. You shouldn’t complain. I am “freaking” Belgium.

Economic Policy [Total = 5 EP]

1.) Build Submarines (5>3) 2 EP: (0>10 Submarines)
2.) Military Upkeep (3>2) 1 EP
3.) Recruit Infantry (2>1) 1 EP: (13 + 5 = 18 Divisions)
4.) Build Artillery (1>0) 1 EP: (13 + 3 = 16 Brigades)

Domestic Policy:

1.) Continue to organize the RMR around the war effort. Spread pro-war propaganda. Tell the people of the RMR’s victories and how the French are on their knees. That Paris is burning.
2.) If not already, get women into the factories to replace their husbands and so forth to keep the war effort rolling. Promise same wage and benefits.
3.) Turn production towards newer equipment. Try to weed out older designs for the newer ones. Rifle improvements and so forth. Knowing the rate of engine development begin building and replacing the older aircraft engines with newer stronger ones.
4.) Offer state rewards, in cash and other things, for the capture of possible French and British espionage agents. Or information about said agents.
5.) PM Jaspar is to make a speech discussing his reforms and the current goals of the party in Brussels. Along with war heroes on temporary leave to make speeches about victory and glory for Belgium.

Espionage Policy:

1.) With the rewards for enemy agents in place we should start seeing the turning in of them if any are present. If captured offer them more money to be double agents for our own use. If they refuse, kill them. No need for a living, uncooperative spy.

Research and Development Policy:

1.) Focus our research into better submarines and aircraft. Mainly the testing of new monoplanes.

Military Doctrine:

We have the German armed forces on our side. The fear of their size and pushing power must be quite well known to the Entente armies and commanders. We have a huge leap in air superiority. As well as tanks and infantry. Our goals for this turn revolve around holding our position and waiting for the Germans to break the lines. Lille is again a war of attrition, the French side is in bad condition compared to ours. Like night and day. We have the fresh supplies while the enemy relies on the sea convoys and factories in southern France. I want loud speakers, if possible, to spread the fear of encirclement and starvation of supplies to the Entente troops. Get in their heads, tell them their commanders will abandon them. Constant air and artillery attacks will keep them in their holes while we hold out. If they break or begin retreating to small groups prong attacks against them in several locations till they fully retreat.

We will dig in and keep a continuous bombardment on them. Picking off stragglers with snipers while we have a hopefully safe year. Defense along the coast is reliant on artillery and submarines.

Military Policy:

Map:
danesdefenseatlillejw6.png

Battle of Lille: [6 Divisions, 5 Artillery, 1 Fighter Squadron]

This battle is at a stalemate as of this time. I expect the enemy to move against my border at another point to the west. My goal at Lille is to hold them their and not give them the chance to move to a weaker location. Constant laterality and air raids, Germans should be aiding us shortly, snipers and radio broadcasts to really lower their morale. Turn Lille into a hell zone like no other. Burn it down and turn it to rubble. If possible gas the enemy troop locations.

Defense of Border with France: [6 Divisions, 4 Artillery, 1 Fighter Squadron]

These are more spread out and thus easier to break through. I hope to keep them suppressed the same as at Lille. Use gas if necessary. No Brit or French man steps into Belgium unless they are captives. Use air and artillery to hold them down.

Defense of the Coast: [ 6 Divisions, 7 Artillery, 1 Fighter Squadron, 8 Submarines]

Similar to the other plans only we use our artillery to keep enemy ships in check. We have some fresh new submarines ready to patrol the coastal and channel areas to pound enemy ships. We know the American First Fleet is coming to kick them around sometime in the spring. So just keep sinking as many ships as possible in the mean time and keep them from making a landing in Belgium. If possible in our budget setup subnets near Antwerp.

Operation Plug: [2 Submarines]

This operation is to be the most secret and outlandish one of the Belgian armed forces this whole war. The operation is to go into the Thames as far as possible without detection and sink a large cargo ship or some other ships and block the river. If possible torpedo some docks and other things. We need to cause as much damage as possible and then retreat. Do it at night if needed. If possible to drop off timed charges on bridges or buildings on the bank of the river then do it.

We will send NO aid to Haiti, as the aid they get will be the fact that the Americans will be so distracted elsewhere that they cannot focus on Haiti. This shall be secretly explained in advance to Haiti. Nothing is to be able to be traced back to us. We shall buy weapons from Russia and Japan. Afterwards, we shall funnel the weapons to operatives in Nicaragua. From Nicaragua it shall be funneled to Mexico, Cuba, Columbia, Canada, the KKK and Quebec.

The rebellions are not to know who there benefactors truly are. However, there shall be a code so that if they win we can tell them that it was us, preventing us from getting in trouble if the rebellion fails. Mexico, Cuba, and Columbia are to believe that they are getting aid from Russia and Germany. Quebec is to believe that they are getting aid from France.

The Canadian rebellion will be split into two, one in Ontario/Manitoba and the other in BC/Alberta, which are very patriotic and loyal. They are to want to realign themselves as an ally but independent nation of Britain. The Quebec rebellion is to be given aid based around Quebec City, and the St. Lawrence. They are to wish for independence, or at the very least unification with France. The Mexican, Columbian, and Cuban rebellions are all to want independence solely.

After the rebellions happen, express regret about the fighting going on, and pledge to do “everything possible to end the fighting” (in Columbia). Make sure not to say end the rebellion, or American rule, just ‘fighting’.

Then branch out again and capture cities like Saldus, Jurmala, Tukums, Stende, Mersrags, Kolka, Ventspils, Ogre, and jekabpills. From there the banched out troops will brach back together and take over Vilniuss by movin down the railroad. Other cities in Vilniuss will also be taken over. From there we move into Poland as one army.

Finland Campain:
Army 2 moves from St. Petersburg up the coast to Finland. Once in Finland they will move as one army west to Rihimaki, taking over cities like Elmaki, Kouvala and Lappeenerata. From those we will move to Helsinki and attack from the north while the other army attacks from the south (Baltic Army). from Helsinki we will continue on to Espoo and vanta, then to Turku, continually taking over smaller cities. We will then go to Tampere, and then to Vassa. From Vassa, we will ready the 2,500,000 man army with 2,500 tanks to move across the Baltic Sea to Umea.
The army from St. Petersburg will move up to Oulo, conquering small towns along the way. We will then cross the Baltic Sea into Sweden, where we will land in Lulea. We will start army 6 moving from Murmansk, Russia, cutting across and conquering northern Finland. They will cross into Sweden, where they will head south to meet army 2 in Oulo. Army 1's half division will move up from Umea to Lulea. Attack on Sweden will then commence.

Attack on Sweden
Once Army 2 and 3, and half of army 1, they will move acroos Sweden to the Norway border. From there, they will conquer southward to Stockholm. Army 7 will go from Copenhagen, with the other half of amry 1, will move up towards Stockholm. We will send the other 2 bombers to bomb Stockholm. The follow-up attack will be from the south, by army 7 and the division of army 1, to Stockholm. the attack from the north will be by armies 2 and 3, and the other half of army 1. Once the battle is over, army 1 will reunify. They will go with army 7 back to Denmark. From Copenhagen, they will move to southern Norway. We will send our stealth bomber, (to be bought), to bomb their nuclear facilities. Armies 2,3, and 6 will commence the attack on Oslo.
After the fall of Oslo, armies 1 and 7 will conquer up the east coast, and armies 2,3, and 6 will divide and conquer the central area, and up the west coast.

My orders from Dach's NEs for turn 3 (I think they're the best I did for that). Anywho, a tidebit about Lucky's orders: France may have suffered on just about everything, but aside from the inital commander, France had among the best commanders.

France’s massive colonial growth over the past fifty years and its brief victory over the Americans in Mexico lent power to the monarchy, as did the general military modernization and expansion in the wake of the Great European defeat. An alliance with the Habsburg Spanish Empire also helped French aims during this period. 5 points for military upkeep.
1 point on Propaganda (Domestic Orders,#4)
1 point on recruiting in Paris (Military Orders,#1)
2 points on recruiting 10 submarines.
2 points on recruiting 4 Dreadnoughts.
2 points on recruiting 4 Tank divisions.
1 point on recruiting 5 Infantry Divisions.

Domestic Orders
Spoiler :

1.)Upon January 1st, 1928, Napoleon V is to issue a speech in Paris. While urging the rise of the French in defence of their motherland, and denouncing the warmongering Germans as barbaric invaders from the east, he is to announce the creation of the post of the Emergency Director of the War Effort (DDEG), an office holding every power of his own but royalty of blood (thus, he could be removed if needed by Napoleon V). Immediately, he is to place Louis Franchet d'Esperey in this post. The next day, quietly as possible, Napoleon V is to retreat from Paris to the safety of Marseilles, leaving d'Esperey to coordinate the immediate war effort.
2.) In addition to Napeolon's flight, upon January 2nd, d'Esperey is to order the mobilization of the entire French army. Setting a strict deadline, the troops are ordered to be ready by March, and the other edicts issued by d'Esperey should help make this possible.
3.)The main edicts issued by d'Esperey include the Ordre d'Effort de guerre (OEG, an order declaring the immediate drafting of the French populace); the Acte de Saisie (AS, an order declaring the right of the French government to seize the assests of any citizen if they would aid the war effort); the Évacuation de Paris (EP, a declaration ordering the civilians of Paris to leave and head towards the coastal cities); the Suspension de droits (SD, an order nulling the criminal and political rights of any civilian; and the Transfert de Propriété (TP, the direct seize of all property within the city of Paris to the French government until after the war). Mainly, use these acts to conscript the troops needed to mobilize the army, and then seize any vehicle needed to bring them to the front.
4.) Begin a massive propaganda campaign aimed at painting the war as a fight for freedom for the French. Employ numerous artists to draw up posters, actors to popularize the cause, and radio broadcats. In addition, produce numerous short movies detailing the war efforts and the fights of the populace's families. (1 point spent on propaganda).

Military Orders
Spoiler :

1.) The defence of Paris will be left to Hubert Lyautey, and he will be given similar powers to the DDEG within Paris. Immediatly, Paris is to be evactuated, and hopefully by March, the city will be left only with the poorer inhabitants and the military (while the middle and upper classes are encouraged to leave, the poor classes of Paris are to be offered jobs defending the city). Drag 10 artillery brigades into the city, and place them around the city in a defensive measure. In the defence of Paris, some measures are to be taken to avoid damaging the city, but if needed, damage can be taken. In addition to the artillery, 20 infantry divisions and 3 tank divisions, plus however many conscripts can be gained in the city from our recruitment program. (1 point spent on recruitment)
2.) The navy is to be placed under the singular command of Gabriel Auphan. The total forces of the French navy should stand at: 1 aircraft carrier, 13 dreadnoughts, 27 cruisers, 45 destroyers, 36 submarines.
-3 dreadnoughts, 10 cruisers, and 20 destroyers (under the command of Jean Decoux) are to distatch from the main French naval forces and head for Argentina. In general they should stick to the coast of Africa, but if needed when they close in with enemy coasts, they should move out to sea. Head for Buenos Aires, and in August (or whenever Andis states), join the Argentinians in a naval assault upon Rio de Janeiro. Along with the naval forces, military and civilian specialists are to travel with the group and help the Argentinian war efforts.
-2 dreadnoughts, 5 cruisers, and 4 submarines (under the command of Jean de Laborde) are to make up the French Far-East naval force. Based in the French Indochina, the group's main purpose is to conduct unrestricted naval warfare (an ideal of Auphan), in which they assault any Triple Alliance shipping, or turn back any ships from neutral nations heading toward German ports (fire on them only as a last resort, but ensure that they understand that France will not allow trading with Germany).
-8 Submarines are to pursue unrestricted naval warfare upon Germany and her allies in the Medditerrean sea.
-The remaining forces- 8 Dreadnoughts, 1 aircraft carrier, 12 cruisers, 25 Destroyers, and 24 Submarines- are to be located within the Channel battle under Auphan. Work alongside the British in fighting the Germans, and once again practice unrestricted warfare. Aim at driving the Germans north and denying them any chance to use the ports taken from thee French portion of the Channel. In addition to fighting for the channel, the submarines are to remain hidden and work against Belgian and German shipping farther north.
-The French idea of unrestricted naval warfare is a simple one- any ship belonging to an enemy nation, whether military, civilian, or trading, are subject to fire. This means that French submarines shall not surface to warn civilian trading ships, and should fire immediatly upon them if they come into sight. In addition, any ship persumed to be traveling and trading with enemy nations are subject to being fired upon.
3.The French army is under the command of the DDEG, Louis Franchet d'Esperey. By March, France's land forces will hopefully be: 87 infantry divisions, 20 tank brigades, 40 artillery brigades.
-Of those forces, 10 artillery brigades, 20 infantry divisions, and 2 tank divisions will be stationed in Paris.
-The majority of French tanks, among the best in the world, will be placed under the command of the young tank specialist, Charles de Gaulle. Specifically, this will ammount to 16 tank divisions, and 20 infantry divisions. His main goal will be to swing against the French northern front, the front that had captured lands of the Channel. His main objective will be to cut the German supply lines and, hopefully with naval support, cut off the movement of August von Mackensen. If possbile, attempt to force him to surrender with the supeior movement of the tanks.
- Under the command of Maréchal Tassigny, the remaining 2 tank divisions, 20 artillery brigades, and 20 infantry divisions are to take up a strong position in the south and attempt to fight north.
-The remaing troops, under Joseph Joffre, are to attempt to hold the central French position, and if needed, support Paris.

.) The French African Forces will be headed by Philippe de Hauteclocque, and based in south. Made up of both Algerians and West Africans, the force will be tasked with fighting for France in Africa. To encourage the natives to join the army, seek out the native leaders and have Hauteclocque make promises to them about certain rights. And before anything, while he may promise them certain rights, it does not mean he has the power to fulfill this (which is something the natives shouldn't know).
-10 French Colonial Militia divisions should head towards the northern, small german colony along the West African coast and attempt to take it.
-5 colonial Militia divisions (based in the Central French colony) should skirmish northwards.
-Troops should be recruited in Madagascar.
2.) French Indochina should head north and attempt to fight the Germans.

Projects: Sprouts (SECRET) (2/4)

Economic Policy: [5 + 3 Banked = 8 total]

1.) Increase Bureaucracy to Brilliant (8>6) 2 EP (Efficient>Brilliant)
2.) Finish Project Sprouts (6>4) 2 EP (Gives Advanced Anti-Armor weapons to my infantry)
3.) Foundation and Propaganda of the Reformist Party (4>3) 1 EP
4.) Military Upkeep (3>2) 1 EP
5.) Mobilize Forces (2>1) 1 EP (+15 Infantry Divisions, 5 Artillery Brigades)
6.) Military Logistics (1>0) 1 EP

Foreign Policy:

1.) The removal of German troops presence in Belgium.
2.) Official declarations of War (if not already cleared)
3.) Send Anti-Armor weaponry samples to Germany

Domestic Policy:

1.) RMR (Réactionnaires Mouvement Réformateur): With the current Belgian political crisis holding back the nation. It is decided upon by the government (coinciding with my increase of bureaucracy to Brilliant) that a middle, war time (for now), party must be created to bring Belgium back from the brink. The organization of this party will be done not only by the right-wing politicians but left wingers as well. The party is focused on keeping Belgium stable, wealthy and safe. With this party must come the setup of a War time cabinet and cabinet Figure-head to replace the current Prime Minister with someone popular. (Look through voting records and polls for popularity) The party itself has a few defining policies/opinions aimed at the current and future world situation. These are.

1. Belgium is not neutral, that is the past. The future of Belgium does not lie in neutrality. Neutrality is seen as a bad thing and neutrality gained Belgium nothing but set backs.

2. The war is unavoidable at this point and would have resulted in conflict within Belgian borders. The policy on the war is to fight it to keep the conflict as far from Belgium as possible.

3. Militarily Belgium needs to mobilize in order to fight the war. Conscription will never occur.

4. The Spanish government is a terrorist and anti-democratic faction. The war itself is aimed at them.

5. The French owe Belgium for the years of oppression and the cutting off of Belgium from colonial gains. Resulting in a stunted economy which could and would have made Belgium a richer and more prosperous nation.

6. No troops, friend nor foe, will occupy Belgian lands. (This includes the removal of German troops from our borders.)

(Note: These are examples and not the limit of the party platform. The party overall is meant to be a war time, popular and moderate party. Based on the here and now. )

2.) Factories should begin moving to wartime production. Mainly the production of mechanized parts. Engines, stamped metal, aircraft parts, etc. With our new anti-armor weaponry being one of the more widely produced.

3.) Propaganda for the new party is to be all around. Focus on images of unity and stability. With military images incorporated for strength.

Espionage Orders:

1.) I expect there will be Entente agents trying to spoil my plans and government. We are to do general security against these types of problems. Punishment being firing squad.

Military Orders:

1.) Armed Forces of Belgium [20 Infantry Divisions, 15 Artillery Brigades, 5 Fighter Squadrons]

2.) Military Doctrine: The overall strategy against the French is one of isolation ands attrition. Give them no chance of holding Paris. Fear and knowledge of the surrounding armies. This type of warfare will wear down any army and the French don’t have the current strength to hold onto Paris and they know it. Even with egotistical remarks about Belgium being inferior on the scale of global war. The commanders in Paris know that the 150,000 Belgians coming will not simply be pushovers. Fresh, trained and not known to them, better equipped. The battle strategy around Paris is taken care of. What I am talking about here is the fear factor. We will use air and artillery power to pound the French day and night. Non-stop. Break them. When they send tanks, if they send tanks, use our anti-armor weaponry to tear their morale down. We hope for surrenders of some sort. The French aircraft are also of lower quality than ours. I believe this will let us easily rule the skies around Paris.

Our defensive doctrine for Belgium itself is simple. Use our roads, rail lines and knowledge of the terrain to help defend. We have perfectly good locations of defense marked out and with coastal artillery we can stop any invasion.

3.) Army Locations and Operations: Each division is named in order of formation. 1-20.

Homeland Defense: 6 Divisions (3rd, 15-20th), 5 Artillery Brigades, 1 Fighter Squadron

French Front: 12 Divisions (1-2nd , 4-14th), 10 Artillery Brigades, 4 Fighter Squadrons

4.) Operation(s) Overview: The goal of this operation is for the capture of Paris and the holding of bridges that on the River Seine. We are cooperating with a large German assault to the south in order to bait and trap, hopefully, a large French army in and around Paris. War of attrition on Paris itself with suppress and capture operations in the country side.

War in France: [12 Divisions, 10 Artillery Brigades, 4 Fighter Squadrons]

Map: My map shows basic movements and locations. I am following the map key in order it is written to ease the strain on you.

1.) Defend of Belgium: Three armies will be setup for the defense of Belgium. Two near the coast with major artillery support and one in Brussels. Each will have 2 divisions and the rear army is for support and relieving. The air squadron will be kept near Brussels for fast action.

2.) Transport into France: We will reopen rail lines into France for the transport of troops and equipment. They will head into France and split off into the two army groups that will take part in the assault on Paris. Keep rail lines repaired and safe. I expect French partisans so leave a guards around bridges and junction points. Leave nothing to chance.

3.) Bases/Airfields/HQ: Once the two army groups reach the location of getting off the trains and setting up base. We will have two rear commands, each with our top commanders. Each base will have 2 fighter squadrons. To use in support operations for our troops. We don’t have many planes so we cannot send them out carelessly. These are also the places where supplies arrive and are sent out. So they will have a decent garrison.

4.) Operation Pine: [5 Infantry Divisions, 4 Artillery Brigades, 2 Fighter Squadrons in support]

This operation is a three prong attack on the French armies western flank north of the Seine. The two eastern most prongs having two divisions each and the western most being led by 2nd division (the one in my Stories). We will spend much of the late winter months shelling the region before a final spring offensive into it. I do think it might be a cake walk if the French decide to leave but that will not happen. We will push through in destroying any tanks or artillery pieces we find in the process. Troops are to carry extreme caution. The French may use poison gas or have laid mines. The operation is to take place nearly the same time as the other one to the north east and is to capture a couple bridges and secure the Western flank. We will not destroy the bridges unless we need to because the Germans will be needing them. We are attempting a bottleneck by capturing those bridges and making them use ones through Paris itself.

5.) Expected Operation Pine Front: Once the initial attacks are carried out in the Spring and the bridges pretty much captured (I won’t go into that detail in the order of the map). We will have a stable easterly facing front against the side of Paris. It is in this time we bring in artillery and use them as supporting fire into the city while the other operation is in action. We are doing a flip flop from focus of fire to keep them anticipating attacks from the wrong directions.

6.) Operation Enlightenment: [7 Infantry Divisions, 6 Artillery Brigades, 2 Fighter Squadrons in support]

This operation is the main front of the Belgian army this turn. We will continue to use war of attrition tactics with the shelling of Paris and surrounding reasons while a steady push forward on ground by troops with air support. All operations are to be ultimately down to our generals all the micromanagement and all. There should be a steady moving front all the first half of the year. To distract from the other operation. Steady and constant artillery is key to victory.

7.) Front post Operation Enlightenment: It should be several miles closer to Paris and in range of using guns directly on the city. We will keep their attention and troops coming in this direction. While both the other operation and German movements take place. By the time this front has been secured the French should have been cut off from the south and the preparations for the movement into Paris should begin.

8.) Coordinated Assault on Paris: Once and only after the Germans have signaled us that the French are trapped. We begin a push into Paris, steady artillery and air support. Our combined army of around 15 divisions should be enough to push into Paris. We will not go into Paris yet. Only to the edge of the City. We are tightening the grip on the enemy.

9.) Front post Coordinated Assaults: At this time we shell the city and wait. Once the French begin to run out of supplies from the cutoff in the south and the German troops marching into them from the south. They will begin to demoralize and be ready for surrender. We will keep up our shelling and constant suppressing fire on the city for weeks or months even if required.

10.) Push into Paris: After all of this artillery and constant battling. Paris should be a mess. Weak soldiers garrisoning it. Running out of supplies and the people unable to support them. This is when we strike (or when the Germans start to go in). I don’t think it will be easy but it definitely won’t be as hard. We will begin a building by building check of the city. With controlled and aimed artillery strikes only. Troops are to watch for snipers and traps. But other then that the city should have fallen. Any prisoners will be shipped back north of Paris to the Bases for containment.

11.) Securing the City: Once the city is secure and relatively safe. We also want to look royal family members however unlikely that they will still be in Paris. Defense will be setup along the river and we will consolidate our gains. The Germans have more man power than us and they can do much more in the south. I want a Belgian flag put on the Eiffel Tower. This will be considered great news to the people at home. Belgian’s defeat the French and occupy Paris. I hope to get a confidence boost from this.

No I didn't bother bolding things again.

I am the sun. and the sum is me.

The sum is less than the whole of its parts. ;)

I am still trying to attach some syndrome to Luckymoose, but I can't come up with anything less contrived than "pretending to be taking everything too seriously".
