My PhD viva is this Tuesday, so I know what it's like. Good luck with the exams. They're more important than units - admittedly I seem to recall spending an awful lot of time animating a Beaver Worker when I should have been preparing for my own QE, so perhaps I'm not one to give such advice.

Well, I've been busy. I completed my major exams last semester. I'm still working on my minor exam, and then this upcoming semester, I'll begin my dissertation. I've been thinking of maybe making a unit, but I know I have a lot of other things on my plate at the moment, so I hesitate to do so. When the time is right, I'll start creating again.

Glad to hear things are progressing well in real life for you. I'll be waiting for any units you create as you find the time, and making them might prove to be a useful diversion from academia when you have free time.

If only I had more free time, I would make a unit. But, today, the first day of the new semester, I had a meeting with my adviser, and I got some more work handed down. I was supposed to present at a conference with him and another professor. Today, I was told that I actually have to make the slide show and give the presentation at the conference. That's actually pretty cool, I think, but it is work. I also have to revise and expand the conference proceedings into a publishable article.

But, maybe a diversion—a little bit now and then—wouldn't be so bad. We'll see.
