I cannot think of any politician in recent memory that inspires as much hate, for as few real reasons, as Hillary Clinton.

Many posters, from the left, right and center, appear to despise her. They write about how she'll ruin the country, how she's a lesbian, a communist, or worse.

I suspect that many of us don't really know WHY we hate her...but thanks to constant media bombarding, we do. So please, vote in poll, for as many reasons as you can think of for hating Hillary Clinton, then tell us why.

Poll Coming,

She is a woman. An unattractive one. That's all we need. If she looked like a supermodel she would have already won the election.

I just clicked "flip flopper". She changes her stance on issues based on popular opinion. Other than that, I see no significant reason for hating her, and the reason I mentioned isn't much of a reason for actual hatred. Strong dislike, I could understand.

Nineteen-eighty-four.

She seems like the most authoritarian of those who have a shot at winning.

She's actually one of the least authoritarian of the democrats. :p

Well, that was just the impression I had, she seems a little stiff.

Their should really be a I like Hilary but plan on voting for another democratic or republican candidate.

Hillary will most likely be the democrats candidate, but she'll lose the presidential elections. I don't expect her to become President. She doesn't have enough of a political spine to embrace the crowds in voting for her.

Video games. If she'd be willing to ban something as trivial as video games on 'moral' grounds, what else could she ban on the same grounds? Considering that those that want to ban video games on moral grounds are a fringe and extreme minority, it'd be concerning as to how far she could go.

How come the poll did not have any reasonable reasons?

Here'e mine:

Strengthening the Middle Class
America's middle class is under siege and ready for change. People are working harder and longer for less and less. For six long years, America's middle class and working families have been invisible to our president. When Hillary is in the White House, no American will be invisible to the president of the United States.

America's middle class is fine. America's middle class and working families have not been invisible to the current administration - that is flat out BS.

Providing Affordable and Accessible Health Care
Nearly 47 million Americans -- including 9 million children -- don't have health insurance. America is ready for universal health care. Hillary has the vision and the experience to make it a reality. This is a battle Hillary has fought before -- and she has the scars to prove it. She knows better than anyone how to fight and build the political support to get the job done.

Universal healthcare is a terrible idea. Perhaps I could advocate it for people under the age of 18, but I very much want to keep our medical system private and capitalist.

Ending the War in Iraq
America is ready for a leader who will end the war in Iraq. Hillary's roadmap out of Iraq, the Iraq Troop Protection and Reduction Act of 2007, is a plan to end the war before the next president takes the oath of office. But if the Bush administration won't end the war, as president and commander in chief, Hillary will.

BS. The war will be over when the Iraqis decide to step up. Leaving an unstable democracy to fend for itself is just plain wrong. It's tantamount to murder.

Promoting Energy Independence and Fighting Global Warming
The choices we make about energy touch nearly every aspect of our lives. Our economy, our national security, our health, and the future of our planet are all at stake as we make a choice between energy independence and dependence on foreign sources of oil. Hillary has proposed an Apollo Project-like program dedicated to achieving energy independence.

An Apollo Project-like program to achieve energy independence? Yea, right. How about some concrete ideas to achieve something TODAY.

Fulfilling Our Promises to Veterans
Hillary will ensure that all those who sacrifice on behalf of our country receive the help and care they need. They not only deserve our country's gratitude and support; they deserve the gold standard in health care and benefits when they return home. That is our most solemn obligation to those who have put their lives on the line for our country.

As opposed to what? This is pure rhetoric.

Supporting Parents and Caring for Children
America is ready for a president who fights for our children. From her first job out of law school at the Children's Defense Fund to her time as First Lady of Arkansas and of the United States to her service in the Senate, helping children has been at the center of Hillary's public life.

Helping children is at the center of her public life? C'mon. George Bush did more for poor children in education reform than Hillary ever will.

Restoring America's Standing in the World
The next president's most urgent task will be to restore America's standing in the world to promote our interests, ensure our security, and advance our values. America is stronger when we lead the world through alliances. As president, Hillary will lead by the words of the Declaration of Independence, which pledged "a decent respect to the opinions of mankind."

Wrong. The next president's most urgent task will be to combat terrorism, not to kiss international ass.

A Champion for Women
Hillary's historic statement in 1995 that "women's rights are human rights" still echoes worldwide. As a lawyer, advocate, First Lady, and senator, Hillary has fought for issues important to women here at home and around the world for decades. Hillary will continue her lifelong fight to ensure that all Americans are treated with respect and dignity.

Hahaha. And what, pray tell, did Hillary do when her own husband showed her the respect and dignity of getting a little assistant + cigar action in the Whitehouse? Nothing. She shut up and thought about her political career. Great example for women there!

Comprehensive Government Reform
Americans are ready for a government that puts competency ahead of cronyism. For the past six years, we've had an administration that has contempt for government. And because they view it with contempt, they treat it with contempt. We need a return to transparency and a system of checks and balances, and a 21st century government to meet our 21st century challenges.

Competency ahead of cronyism? Gee, I wonder where all of her cabinet will come from. Will she put a conservative judge on the supreme court if he/she is the most competant? NO WAY. Her plan includes "Creating a public service academy." Are you kidding me? A government run school to teach government people what to do? How convoluted is that?

Strengthening Our Democracy
Fair and honest elections are the bedrock of a successful democracy. Yet we have seen abuses in national elections since 2000 that have undermined our democracy and Americans' faith in our electoral system. Hillary is a leading champion of election reform. She has introduced the Count Every Vote Act to avoid repeating the problems of the past and ensure the integrity of our elections.

The act "Provides a paper trail for every vote cast.". No. I do not want a paper trail that leads back to me. Our vote is secret, and I want it kept that way.

I would not say that I hate her, but I disagree with her nearly across the board. The only thing I agree with her on is that election day should be a national holiday.

Want to elaborate on your responses anesheem?

If you want me to.

First of all, her grasp of economics leaves a lot to be desired. A further expenditure of $110 billion on a dubious healthcare plan, when the state is in the financial hole it is in right now?

Secondly, the idea of having a female commander-in-chief worries me. I've noticed a curious thing with women politicians - either they're really, really good, or they're completely batsh** insane. Looking at her record, she seems to tend towards the latter.

Thirdly, she has zilch real convictions. Her stances on things fly with the winds of public opinion.

Fourthly, she is more than willing to censor video games which were not made for children in the first place using the "Think of teh children!!!1oneone1!" card, and pander to the constituency of parents who can't be arsed to see what their children are playing, and want the state to do their parenting for them. This is highly disturbing, because it is, IMO, an intolerable infringement of the right to free expression, and shows that she has no regard for rights if she can get votes in return for violating them. It also shows an equally disturbing trend towards the nannyisation of the state.

EDIT: And I don't "hate" her, I just think that her getting elected would be a catastrophe of historic proportions.

I hate how fake she is. I hate that her accent changes depending on crowd. I how how her political stance will change depending on the crowd.

She moved to New York to secure a seat in the senate. Alan Keyes tried the same thing in 2004 in Illinois. I hate voting for Democrats but I voted for Obama.

She is for rolling back the Bush tax cuts.

She moved to New York to secure a seat in th senate.

That bugged me too, but the blame lies with New York, not Hillary. If they didn't want to allow people to walk in an run for Senate, they could pretty easily disallow it.

She moved to New York to secure a seat in the senate.
Blame the Republicans for having completely crappy candidates.
