Biden sounds like a President. Forgot what that was like
With the amount of virus circulating in the White House they're going to have to deep clean it and keep Biden out for a while after the inauguration and before he moves in. Might be safer just to burn the bloody thing down again, and start over.
One reason "shy Trump voters" doesn't make as much sense as you'd think as an explanation for polling errors this year is that Republican candidates for Congress generally outperformed their polls by more than Trump did.
"It's harder to reach certain types of voters on the phone, including in ways that are hard to solve with demographic weighting" has always been a more robust explanation than "people are too ashamed to admit they like Trump".
Anyway, a good lukewarm take is that declining response rates to polls—long cited as a reason for concern—are starting to take their toll, but not in a way that will be especially predictable. Indeed if the effects were predictable, they would be easy to solve.
A look at the cumulative statewide House vote in states like GA, PA and WI suggests that the prez race in these states could have played out very differently. And are consistent with the idea that Dem primary voters made a VERY wise choice in Biden.
Which means greater suffering for the people. Greater costs for energy sources that are less efficient and have to do twice the work just to scrub the carbon adding even more to the cost.

Canada would be glad to offer its expertise in the domain to assist your effort and rebuild the ties between our nations.
I'll grant that Trump never gives up, but WTH did you ever saw Trump fight "standing up to the bully for someone" ? He IS the bully, bullying others is half of what he ever does, and he never fought for anyone but himself. Are you seriously arguing that anyone loves Biden or that they don't hate Trump? Listen to Whitlock's video. Trump's people love him because he fights for them, he stands up to the bully and he never gives up. I understand you find loving Trump incomprehensible, but 50+ million people do.
A lot. There is the surface damage that can be easily mended (Trump insulting people and countries is more eye-rolling than a true cause for offense toward a whole nation), but there is a lot of much deeper stuff that will have consequences for years or even decade (Europe suddenly realizing that the USA might abandon it some day lead to some discreet but fundamental shift in overarching policy). He seriously hurt the USA standing and credibility in the world, in ways that will probably not really heal until a new crisis that will test them.So here's a question for our worldly friends... You've seen a few of us Americans attempting to reconcile a bit in this thread... What are the chances Biden can restore our standing on the world stage and we can go back to being better friends internationally? Is it likely? How much damage was done?
Pine is garbage for bats. Ash is where its at... or maple.... lets talk about soft lumber!

I'm never super comfortable with granting too much credence to oratory skills for politicians. I want my politicians to be an effective administrators - for that, what's important is thoughtful and precise writing and the ability to deal with others, not oration.
If I want to watch a speech I can go watch something by Aaron Sorkin.
Or just leave it empty for a week and don't bother with any cleaning.

Multiple Rupert Murdoch-owned conservative media outlets in the United States have shifted their messaging in a seeming effort to warn readers and viewers that Donald Trump may well have lost the presidential election.
The new messaging appears to be closely coordinated, and it includes an appeal to Trump to preserve his “legacy” by showing grace in defeat. The message is being carried on Fox News and in the Wall Street Journal and the New York Post – all outlets avidly consumed by Trump himself, especially Fox.

He has no idea...Gimme a break. Ash is the most balanced. I mean kids just use aluminum, which BTW has a sweet sound when its solid (fancy carbon composite has a dull sickly sound) but I love the old school, wood... especially for giving the kids FUNGO... but I usually use whats on hand, which means metal.lol, a decade? It hasn't sorted out in 200+ years!
Bonds used a maple one, right?
...and the joke is: Trump hates Comey. You know, this Presidential map, aka a Narrow blue wall and Arizona win, and a possible GA and NC flip might have been the 2016 result if it wasn't for James Comey. So 4 years of Trump, and 250,000 Americans dead, just to patch over Comey's blunder.
Perhaps we see a personal trainer paid by Rupert Murdoch heading in a hurry to the WH to give mr Trump a speed training in grace.
After all... Trump, that surprise opportunity, has been just a useful bully dog... served but now outlived his purpose... and should not screw up the interests of the bigger picture
Boil the water to get what you want then turn the heat down.
Hope the pot doesn't boil over.
Can I interest you in some water-cooled, graphite-moderated reactors with a positive void coefficient and no containment buildings around them? And tell me will it be cheaper?
