NOTW L: The Immortals [Game Thread]

All those lies was very stressful for me (I saw Visorslash thought I was going to have a heart attack!).

Your lies were remarkably good, so :hatsoff: to you, and to Sprig for the excellent game!

So I think I am hosting the next game. I already have most of it planned out and am very excited to be hosting my first game in a very long time! It should be ready to start in a week or two.

It makes me so happy to see Notws queuing up again :)

I'm pretty choxorn is lining you up for a celebratory snack.

I love the smell of terrified wizards in the morning.

What I have learned from this is that it is quite difficult to effectively play one of these on 90 minutes of free time per day - indeed I spent the majority of it in a state of punchdrunken exhaustion, skim-reading ATPG posts and having to be led by the hand by Ekolite and spaceman, who by the way were excellent allies and I apologise for not being able to provide more assistance than the mana I held. (I don't usually take part in town networks but it was nice to see what Kol actually does during his long periods of public-thread inactivity, for a change :p This was the first time I've played with spaceman, I recommend him as a teammate and would be thoroughly spooked at what he could do as an enemy )

Compliments and commiserations as well to Bad Player - town can throw eggs at me now if they want for handing him the chaos mana but if you think about it, BP was the best choice for preventing the mana from being stolen by the thief. :mischief:

(The reason I handed BP the mana was because he really did have me fooled - just on behaviour, that is - I felt he was much more likely to be innocent than Visorslash, Kol or spaceman at the time at which the 'inner sanctum' QT was formed. Unfortunately for him that did not mean I was going to forget the chaos mana entirely; as I have a lot of respect for Bad Player as a Good Player it warms the cockles of my heart to see that my PMs at the end had him worried.)

Sprig, thanks for a very entertaining game and a worthy #50 - if I had $2000 worth of alcohol to hand, I would raise a glass to you (note: this will not happen as I am saving my $2000 for the purpose of getting Zack to leave 400 forums)

And finally ATPG: <3

It was fun trying to keep track of this even though I was unable to do anything at all.

I generally manage to get myself killed early, regardless of alignment. This is only the second game I survived until the end, and the only reason I was successful was that Visor left me a good network to work with, i,e, you guys.

Thank You Sprig for the awesome game, and well played scum, especially given that you had relatively difficult roles!

Will role PMs be revealed?

I thought about why, and then I realized that your tendency to go really after everyone you perceive as scum hurts, especially since, as demonstrated by your defense of Bad Player and suspicion of several of the vampires, your scumdar can be waaaaay off sometimes. Attacking half the innocents and defending mafia a lot tends to make you look scummy.

I think the chaos mana turned out to be a poisoned chalice for me in the end!

Yup, But that's a job for tomorrow. Still writing up the epilogue.

Fun game. Wished the vampires didn't nibble on me so early. I disagree with ATPG on two things (rightfully so :p ) and I get whacked. Oh well. Great game Sprig! A ton of fun while it lasted.

If you are a part of reality, you can always bite Askthepizzaguy in the arse.

Thanks for the game Sprig, sorry for going inactive, I had even less free time than Catharsis and couldn't even come close to keeping up.
