NOTW XLVI: Dakalam

I vote Earthling for the cloak. I don't trust thieves with invisibility.

And I renew my vote against Visorslash.

Very well.

Yes, I can attack people. It's a very weak attack ability, and it doesn't do much damage and I can't kill people with it. Specifically how much it does depends on what class someone is.

What happened on Night One was that I decided to see what would happen if I attacked Zack. What happened is that he was uninjured and I got hit for some damage. So claiming someone attacked me was... well, not completely the truth, but I wasn't sure "I attacked Zack and it didn't work" was the best thing to say in public, and that claiming to be attacked would have a better chance of getting me healed or at least getting someone like Earthling to talk to me.

On Night 2, I forgot to send in orders, and last night I attacked Jarrema.

And I haven't been nominating much or anything because, for one thing, I've been busy, and for another thing, it's early in a large game, and I can't see many good cases at this point. I'm not usually the most active person early in large games, and I clearly just haven't been paying enough attention to JoanK and spaceman to know who's lurking and who's actually not there. Come on, I do my research better than that when I'm actually a mafia.

I would say that Visorslash is grasping for reasons, but I can't remember the last time I played a game with him where he didn't think I was scummy, so I'd say it's just my usual scummy-to-Visorslash aura.

It is true that I was attacked last night

I'm not getting a good vibe from Kivuli (BSmith). Surprisingly few words, saying surprisingly little of substance. Perhaps us innocents make fools of ourselves, accusing each other?

I'd be interested to hear theories about what the items may do. Someone already suggested the cloak has something to do with invisibility? That would be handy... In some earlier comments it was suggested that at least some items are only effective if you're the right class.

I must say, my activity won't reallt get better for being back. IOTs, GaP2 and RL absorb too much of my time to properly focus in the game, but I will try.
If anybody thinks that is scummy, or doesn't help the town or whatever, do what you feel necessary, although I strongly advise against wasting a lynch on me. On the other hand, I might be able to help through night actions which I have not performed yet because absence and stoopid forgetting about it.

Cloak - Scoundrel (Though possibly Warlock, and I doubt Warrior)

Beverage - All three I could uses for.

Bottle - Warrior/Warlock?

Choxorn, you'd be good aligned wouldn't you?

Bottle is going to have alcohol in it. It's clearly the russian's bottle.

You men get so hyped up and leave all the thinking to the women

anyways, I similarly feel that such men in the shadows as BSmith warrant attention.

Someone should vote everyone's favorite King for something :).

Doh. Useless host, not even informing me of my death. My missing a page is totally not a factor in my not knowing. If I weren't dead I'd voice my suspicion of you jumping in so quickly to tell me I'm dead, Visor, but I am so I can't.

Kennigit what have you been doing, anything interesting at night? Don't want to take a position on choxorn or Visorslash? That's a little scummy.

Also, others suggesting the Cloak provides invisibility is a very specific assertion and it's curious. If it came from a dead person how would you claim to know that?

As for DaveShack's other questions about items, yes, the information is pretty much confirmed. At least, magical items can't really be used by commoners.

I was assuming choxorn is a good-aligned Warrior as well, that sounds right.

Earthling and Me, Me, as I don't see anyone else giving a good reason to get them.

I agree on Visorslash. I always think hes scummy, except when he is scum.

But I also think you are scum, purely based on the top part. Gives you a way out if someone tracks you to someone who ends up dead, and doesn't seem right at all that you can damage but not finish people off. What will they do, just sit at 1 health until they get damaged again?

vote: choxorn

How the hell should I know? I just know what my ability description tells me. If you want, I can attack someone who's almost dead and see what happens to them, but I highly doubt you want me to do that.

But, Jarrema, you can verify that the attack didn't do very much damage to you, right?

May I offer you a beverage, choxorn?
