ARRRGH - everybody stop saying that. There are hundreds of Diablo mods everywhere and no one said anything about them... hell, there is even a Civ4 warcraft mod (or starcraft ?). They aren't saying anything.

What about FreeCraft ?

And for the graphics directly taken from a Blizzard game, there are several posts in these boards mentionning a previous attempt shut down by Blizzard.. Even if I don't remember if it was for Civ-3 or another game.

(We'll see about the War/StarCraft Civ4 Mod when it'll come to a playable or advanced state)

I hope so too; what is strange is that i don't recall (a few weeks ago when i read about the mod) them talking even a little about this. N00bs

I've read some previous atempts of blizzard mods, but i don't recall anyone posting an official order from blizzard in any of them. Maybe you know ... i haven't been around as long as you.

FreeCraft was an amateur RTS develloped to clone WarCraft (1 or 2) IF you've got the original CD. Basicly, it wasn't a real clone but rather a reinterpreter like ScummVM.
