Zombie Island 3 in the works

I think I can easier imagine a bunch of sailor zombies trying to continue their work after death than a bunch of zombie domesticating giant rats and building some kind of raft on their back.. But of course, there is a giant swimming rat unit and there isn't any haunted modern ship.

Orthanc said he was going to do a ghost ship at some point after I made the Icons for some.

I agree with Supa that a ship fits the role better than the rat or turtle.

Bad news, the PC that has my zombie scenario has been hit with a very nasty virus; it actually corrupted my antivirus among other things. It is not safe for me to upload any files from my computer right now.

Damn those makers of viruses/spyware. I wish I could get my hands on them.

:bump:

So, now that EFZI2 is almost out, anyone got any new news on any EFZI3? Anyone even remember?

In the meantime, I've come up with Escape From Zombie Island 0- The prequel, complete with a couple of special features, plot holes, old characters who shouldn't even be in the scenario, and many other such corny prequel rip-off stuff...

Go for it Virote, you could do something like Escape From Medieval Zombie Island a kind of sequel-prequel:crazyeye: which begins just as the existing scenario ends.

A brief plot outline: Just as the united champions of humanity fight the final battle at The Research Centre a rift in time opens up transporting them to the Paradise Island of 1000 years ago. The ruler of the island is the Rebel Baron Zeb who is steeling himself for an onslaught from his former Liege Lord (King Arthur) ;). His fate is certainly sealed against overwhelming odds but who are these strange people turning up at his court, could he just turn things to his advantage and hold on to his land?

The strange people are of course the mix of Company, Authority and Survivors zapped back in time. They are totally out of their element but luckily they have unlimited ammo  The "Survivors" must find a way back to the future and get off this damned island once and for all.

Of course the rift not only brought people back it brought back an army of undead

I swear I suggested the medieval version in this very thread...

The "backstory" to my scenario goes like this:
X City (code name until I can be bothered to think up a real name) is your average city-stricken-by-civil-war. It's a large city (capital, maybe) in the middle of a desert.

There are the "normal" 4 factions, and a slightly altered "Farmer's" faction:

-The Survivors:
Once the every day normal civilians in the city getting torn apart by MG rounds, RPG's and the such, now they're getting torn apart by the living dead. They have to get past the Desert to the TV station.

-The Authorities:
Were fighting "the Rebels" (both physically, and for the hearts-and-minds of the population), and have now called a ceasefire with the rebels so they can combat the Zombie threat. The only problem is how long will this last?... They have to destroy the zombies, and then everyone else to stop further contamination.

-The Company:
On invitation by the government to do their crooked testing, they have now unleashed the horrible Z5N1 strain of the Zombie Virus onto the population of the city. They- like always- have to cover it up somehow.

-The Zombies:
The companies created these monstrosities using the Z5N1 virus. It can raise the recently deceased, and is highly contagious among most un-living animals. However, it is not as strong as future versions of the virus, as it has not been "perfected". It is still lethal.

-The Rebels:
Whereas they once were fighting the Authorities over who controls the state, they've now set up a temporary peace-fire. However, they have not committed themselves to fighting the zombies, due to them seeing this as the perfect opportunity to weaken the Authorities. They can mainly be found hiding out at their farms and Military Cache's dotted around.

-The map:
The map is a little bigger than the previous one (standard, instead of small), and is on the mainland, as opposed to an island. However, x and y wrapping are on (to simulate the fact that you cannot escape the city, no matter which direction you run!), and a river runs through the middle of the map, although there are a couple of crossing points. The TV station is located in the very corner of the map, and is surrounded by deserts on all side, so that you can't walk from one point of the map and abuse the wrapping system to get there early!

I'll post some more in the morning. Right now, I need to go watch The Young Ones ;)...

I really like your map it looks very nice and I can see getting access to those "bridges" over the river is going to be key. I like the Deserts too it introduces other options like Atomic Test Sites with giant "It Came From The Desert" type monsters.
