Diplomatic Orders
-We are officially declaring the Italian Federation dissolved, due to their inability to halt the spread of communism, and refuse to acknowledge the existence of any pan-Italian government from here on out whatsoever. We also hereby annex the territories of Parma, Modena, Lucca, and the Grand Duchy of Tuscany. If France invades and occupies Lombardy and Piedmont-Sardinia as per the previous partition plans (which will remain secret), we will recognize that (unless the French don't stop there, of course).
-We refuse to recognize the current rulers of Poland, and therefore cut all diplomatic ties with said socialist government. This means that the former Austro-Polish NAP is null and void, and that we do not recognize them as a part of the Grossbund, and that we will seize all goods shipped through, from, or to Poland as contraband.
-We protest Russia's withdrawal from the Grossbund, but maintain our own status as a member of that alliance.
Economic Orders
-Sarajevo is to be developed mainly as an economic center of industrialization; Magyar labor can always help. YKTD.

Larger, Provisional Formations
-Created for the sole purpose of implementing Fall Purpur.
Italian Army Group (15 infantry divisions, 5 artillery divisions, 10 armored divisions, 9 mech. infantry divisions, 5 mech. artillery divisions, 9 fighter squadrons, 9 fighter-bomber squadrons; 1st Army, 2nd Pz Army, and 2 Air Force) - under the command of Generalfeldmarschall Eduard Freiherr von Böhm-Ermolli, concentrated in Venetia.
Operations
-With the 1st Army and the 2nd Panzer Army we will mount Fall Purpur (Case Magenta) against the Italian Communists in the north of that country.
Fall Purpur
Outline - Basically, the 1st Army and 2nd Pz Armies will cross the Po River to the south and move to occupy Tuscany, Parma, and Modena, eliminating any resistance from anybody along the way, and then move to consolidate our annexed gains, while preparing defenses against attack and moving to completely eliminate any communist resistance whatsoever.
Phase I - The 1st Army has one major task to complete immediately. They are to seize and hold the crossings over the Po from Austrian Venetia, such as at Ferrara, and protect them while the 2nd Pz Army crosses them and moves south. They are also to devote at least one corps initially to holding the line of the border with Lombardy (i.e. Lake Garda and the Mincio River) and digging in for defense against large-scale units as well as protection against communist insurgents. Meanwhile, 2nd Pz Army is to cross at these bridgeheads and drive as rapidly as possible south towards Tuscany and the southern coast, generally along the line of the Reno River as far as the Apennines.
Phase II - The 1st Army will now swing westwards with its remaining troops, walling off the line of the 2nd Pz's advance by moving with two corps into the Duchy of Parma as far as the Sardinian border. They are to complete occupation of the remaining territory to the west as far as Piedmont-Sardinia, while the corps that remained on the Mincio line is to remain there and leave Lombardy alone. Meanwhile, 2nd Pz Army will breach the Apennines, and spread out on the Tuscan plain. It ought be very easy to outmaneuver any attempted roadblocks in Tuscany, while keeping as our main object the seizure of the territory annexed to us. 2nd Pz Army is ideally suited to this task because it is more mechanized than a regular Army and therefore has more mobility, but has a larger proportion of mechanized infantry than the 1st Pz Army, so it can also take and occupy land much more easily. (The 1st Pz's main mission is, of course, to drive rapidly into the enemy's rear.)
Phase III - This is the consolidation phase; the 1st and 2nd Pz Armies will prepare defenses to guard their occupied territory and begin a crackdown on communist subversives. Thus far, we will maintain military government, and martial law will extend not only throughout the newly annexed territories but also into Venetia as well to prevent further subversive activity.
Phase IV - Only to be entered in the event of French intervention. In this case, the 2nd Pz Army will swing north from its positions in Tuscany and move obliquely north-west back through the Apennines to arrive on the southern flank of French troops in Lombardy, while 1st Army engages them along the Lombardy-Venetia border. We should naturally engage the French main body with the 1st Army while using the 2nd Pz to hit their rear and pocket them; however, this is of course not the only necessary or even possible course, and if the commander on the scene so deems it, the 2nd Pz and 1st Armies can take other actions if circumstances so warrant or if a better alternative can be reached. Remember to remember the Principles outlined in the last order set. This phase has as its basic object the occupation of Lombardy and Piedmont in addition to our regularly allotted territories, as well as preliminary operations to penetrate the Alpine barrier on the French border.
Standing Orders
-Anyone identifiable as a communist or a socialist may be punished under military law as committing the act of sedition and therefore be executed if found guilty by court-martial; in extenuating circumstances, deadly force may be used against suspected communists or socialists without trial (such incidents will be looked into via inquiry, and knowing violators will be punished severely, perhaps demotion or demerits or even being cashiered).
-If the French do intervene in northern Italy, we will remain in a state of peace and even fraternization with them unless they occupy more than their fair share, i.e. moving into places other than Sicily, Piedmont-Sardinia, and Lombardy. If and only if this results, we are to enter Phase IV.
-Any national Italian government no longer exists; its former leaders are to be watched with extreme caution.
-Any armed resistance met by any Austrian unit in the pursuit of its objectives must be eliminated with deadly force if so deemed by the commander. Peaceful resistance is only to be eliminated if it obstructs the attainment of objectives or if it is communistic or socialistic in nature.
-Throughout the operation air cover will be provided by the 2 Air Force.
Other Operations
-We have new campaign plans in the event of war with Bulgaria or Russia. However, these are only to be used if we are attacked; in the case of other events, we will use slightly different plans, also outlined below. Actual implementation of these plans on the operational level will be left to the generals of the General Staff and commanding officers, as they oughtn't be restricted too much (I don't want to turn into OTL Hitler guys!).
Fall Gulle - in the event of a Bulgarian and Rumanian attack on Austria
-This plan entails a general resistance by the 3rd Army against the Bulgarian troops moving against Bosnia and Serbia. Meanwhile, the 1st Pz Army is to move through Wallachia and across the Danube into Bulgaria proper to run wild there (i.e. move to secure Sofia, the Black Sea Coast, move even further south, whatever the generals think will hurt the Bulgarians - or benefit us - the most).
Fall Aua - in the event of a Russian attack on Austria
-2nd Army is to resist as best it can; if Poland joins the fray as well then things might get hot, and may entail the use of the 3rd Army as reinforcements in Galicia. We need to concentrate on "saving the troops that we have" as opposed to "holding our ground" due to the ability of the Russians to encircle us with much more ease than that of the Bulgarians. They should not yield ground into Hungary, though (i.e. over the Carpathians) - that's as far as we want to go. However, withdrawals should be as little and shallow as necessary. Meanwhile, 1st Pz Army is to strike out east, moving through Bessarabia to get behind the Russian attacking force and wreak havoc there.
Fall Brauenrot - in the event of Bulgaria and Russia attacking us
-Mount what is basically Fall Gulle, but with the added event of resistance by the 2nd Army in Galicia along the lines of its stand in Fall Aua. Troops may be withdrawn from the 1st Army in Italy if practicable and/or necessary.
Fall Kotze - in the event of German and Bulgarian war with Russia - unlikely, but still, if they fight, we will join in.
-2nd Army is to probe against the southern flank of Poland and Russia, although if we are being attacked this may be a poor idea. Germany has indicated their plans to encircle Poland and possibly a Russian army along with them; if this is the case, then 2nd Army is to do all practicable actions to link up with the German northern pincer and encircle the Polish salient.
-Meanwhile, 1st Pz Army is to move through Bessarabia just the same as last time, but this time it will swing east, not north, with the objective of the Russian Black Sea supply centers and the Isthmus of Perekop, to bottle up the Russian troops in the Crimea, if they are there. This advance is to be walled off by the 3rd Army, transferred from the Balkans.
Fall Schwarz - in the event of German war with Russia and a Bulgarian attack on us
-Basically, follow Fall Brauenrot, but instead of resistance by the 2nd Army, emphasis should be placed upon linking up with the German pincer as in Fall Kotze.
Naval Operations
-At all times the navy will merely be guarding the Adriatic entrances from the Ionian Sea through the Straits of Otranto, and will conduct combat operations against anyone who tries to enter said Adriatic Sea.
Air Operations
-All operations in areas under the jurisdiction of a particular air unit will be assisted by that air unit; if operations do not occur within the jurisdiction of a particular air unit, but its services are required elsewhere, transfer it to a separate location.
