C3MT v1.12.6 installer

C3MT - Civ3MultiTool (Second CFC Thread) 2016-10-05

v1.11
- Fixed bug in PCX saving not following all PCX conventions. (Making some programs displaying PCX-images saved by C3MT in a strange way)
- Icons restored in c3mt.dll
- TechTree Builder: Added Simple Graphic mode for the tech tree boxes.
- Fixed bug with trying to load incorrect default rules for C3C
- Civ2MapConverter now correctly handles FloodPlains, Coasts and Seas as conversion targets
- New Tool: Image2Map - Convert PCX images to Civ3 maps
- Fixed bug with direct startup of the Civ2Map converter
- Fixed bug with label overrides for the CopyTool
- Fixed bug with the Unit comparer not reporting changes only in required technology.
- Import/Export units now handles multiple startegies for units
- Updated MOD version to version 2. Old mods are no longer useable. (but I doubt any one uses them anyway)
- Fixed bug with unitprototype reorder in scenarios with units on the map
- Fixed bug with reordering buildings related to telepads. Could corrupt data or generate subscript errors.
- Fixed bug in Civilopedia editor where the icons would list small, large and one more, that made the tool crash if selected.
- Fixed some backward compability issues
- Updated the internal system of handling scenario files.
- Updated internal system for handling saves
- Optimized unit selection routine in savehandler slightly
- SGE: FOW calculation updated to work with C3C terrain
- Full C3C v22 support (hopefully)
- Improved backcompability with older Civ3 versions.
- TechTree Builder: Added ability to chnage to a standard background instead of the one found in the searchpath.

Please rereport any bugs that still are in the tool. Too mush have changed codewise since the old version to be able to track those bugs.

I tried the new version 1.11. I play Conquests 1.22. When I added two techs and tried to change the government from Anarchy to Democracy, because I was bored of waiting so many rounds, then during loading the data, an error message appeared: DataIO System error: OUTP.
Another thing is when I tried to use the "edit filter" function the CRMT crashed. Any ideas?

Thanks

Yeas of course, not a problem, but I have much work now and I can only attach them in a later thread.

bye

I updated to 1.11 and it doesn't seem to work right :(

Version 1.11 crashes here when trying to write new BIQ. It happens with all BIQs I tried, even the default conquests.biq. It crashes even if I don't use any features - both Save and simple Copy fail. What's strange is that it seems to crash at random points. For example sometimes the log ends here:
[...]
BICPUT: Writing VER#
BICPUT: Writing Buildings(BLDG)
BICPUT: Writing Citizen(CTZN)
BICPUT: Writing Culture Levels(CULT)
BICPUT: Writing Difficulty Levels(DIFF)
BICPUT: Writing Eras(ERAS)

sometimes it goes some steps further:

BICPUT: Writing Espionage(ESPN)
BICPUT: Writing Experience(EXPR)
BICPUT: Writing Resources(GOOD)
BICPUT: Writing Governments(GOVT)

Note that I used version 1.10 without any problems. After mentioned problems I deleted whole folder and installed 1.10 again and it works. I would really like to switch to 1.11 to check out the new feauters e.g. map conversion tool, since BMP2BIC was pretty annoying and faulty.

What BIQ vesrion are you using? And what tool is the BIQ created from. Do you get any error message, or just a plain crash?

The new BIQ system is more failsafe than the old, but it's not been tested more then on a very limited scale so far, and I might have done some things wroing with tools using the old system in the progress of updating them.

The new map conversion tool were added by a request, but isn't very well developed. It works, but I hope to make it more failsafe sometime.

I've tracked down an access violation error in the serialization code for the prototype section. And it will be fixed with the next version.

Does it give any error message?

Nope, just the usual XP windows.

The log ends like this :

Code:
BICPUT: Writing VER#
BICPUT: Writing Buildings(BLDG)
BICPUT: Writing Citizen(CTZN)
BICPUT: Writing Culture Levels(CULT)
BICPUT: Writing Difficulty Levels(DIFF)
BICPUT: Writing Eras(ERAS)
BICPUT: Writing Espionage(ESPN)
BICPUT: Writing Experience(EXPR)
BICPUT: Writing Resources(GOOD)
BICPUT: Writing Governments(GOVT)
BICPUT: Writing Rules(RULE)
BICPUT: Writing Unit Prototypes(PRTO)

C3MT 1.11.1
- Fixed bug in saveload
- Fixed bug with BI[]-creation when having maps in the new file.
- Fixed access violation bug with saving scenario files containing unit

prototypes [PRTO] or using the copy tool to copy prototypes.

Sorry, I tried to upload, both files, the original and the changed, but they were to large. Before I tried to change a file with the new version 1.11.1. but it crushed again when I loaded the data after I have started the game. I don`t have any idea how to help you. In the changed data I only changed the government type from Anarchy(4) to Democracy.

Nevertheless thanks for your help.

Hi Gramphos,

execuse me it took a while until I have sent you the two files. Too much work now.

Bye and thank you
